It’s sociocultural. I like the rebelliousness of it. Even though it’s common, it’s not encouraged or seen as desirable. The freedom to enjoy whatever foods you want and not feel pressure to work out is also appealing.
I also like the idea of the body as a reflection of lifestyle. In reality, this actually often isn’t the case (lots of slim people are just naturally slim and have worse diets/get less exercise than people with larger body types), but I like the idea of falling into stereotypes or imagining what others might think of looking/acting a certain way.
In particular, the idea of transition phases is really intriguing. Like that slim person who’s been letting go. Maybe their clothes are getting tight, their stamina’s decreased, or their general appearance is getting flabbier. Right on the cusp of not being able to cover it up anymore and on the verge of being generally recognized as chubby or obese.
You are spot on. I have always been an athlete so when I stopped playing sports and I had a chance to get with someone who liked doting and fattening up the men she dated; I went all in. And it was the rebellious aspect as well as to go through the fattening process to see what it would feel like to fattening oneself completely up.

There is a huge need for an overall understanding of social skills especially when it comes to online etiquette. When you have so many cultures that are able to converse with each other so freely; certain norms get lost in translation. Then, when you add the constant messages one will receive whether in the messages in the chat (not the general chat but the personal message)that can be offensive because there is a plethora of folks here who don't understand you can't start a personal chat saying: "Hello Fat Ass !" So, you can find plenty of people here who have the same interests it is just that you have to let things germinate naturally but that is predicated on a basic knowledge of social norms because we don't want rudeness to become the baseline of a good community of like minded people because Feabie will eventually germinate to the fat version of Onlyfans due to the amount of hubris and rudeness that permeates that entire site.

You can find love but you have to be strategic about knowing where to look for people who are accepting of fat when it comes to region. I was born on the northern east coast of the United States but when I learned from college female associates that they were more accepting of fat; that was when I took a trip to randomly see and that was when I saw for myself that in the deep south; fat is more accepted and then that raises your probabilities. If you don't have this options then you have to develop your skills to vet whom you are talking to. This site and others are loaded with posers online who are anything but offline so the quicker you can find out whom you are talking to and how they see fat the higher your probabilities will be.

I just hate going to see the doctor in general, lol! But now that I have a less judgemental, less anti-fat doctor, it is much more pleasant. But I don't get a thrill out of it.
Being told how fat I've got being a turn on totally depends on the person. If it's my partner, or friends who are sympathetic it can be fun. It is nice when you know they mean it in a kind way.
With family and strangers it's usually mentioned in a negative and judgemental way, so not so nice.
I feel you on this post. I have a female doctor who I suspect might like obese men because she loves telling me what to eat to keep adding subcutaneous fat to my body.
I used to actually want women that I dated to comment but as I got in my forties; I am more aroused by my own fatness so now it is about what new roll can I grow or can my moobs sag more.
As far as family/friends and strangers, if they are not on board with my fatness or any that I may add then I just won't deal with them. I don't pay attention to someone who doesn't know me says about my fatness.

When I first met my wife a dozen years ago she was 400 lbs. She had a friend that was just as big as her. I was around 200 lbs. When all three of us used to go out to eat it was a challenge finding seating for both of them.
Now a dozen years later and my wife is 280 lbs and her friend is in the low 300s. Meanwhile I've ballooned to over 450 lbs.
The other day all three of us went out to eat and my wife and her friend had to make sure I would fit in the seats. Not only that they had to help me get in the car.
The tables have turned.

I lost a lot then a couple of years later regained.
The thing I noticed about the regained weight it was a lot flabbier and soft.
I always had a beach ball kind of belly in the past but as I re gained I noticed a double belly was starting so I ended up with a bit of a fat lower belly apron.
Since then my belly has gotten larger and flabbier.
Yeah, this time around for me was just like that. The fat moves way more this time around and it is very noticeable....

Exactly. Most will never know the feeling of having their moobs, back fat and beanbag butt jiggle independent of each other all at the same time

I put my keys on my belly as I gathered up my stuff before getting out of the car. My moobs blocked my view of my keys.

I'm here for more than ten years a d the people are definitely fatter... 400lbs seems to be normal... Back in the day it was exceptionnal. And that's really cool.

That is absolutely true for me on a personal level. Twenty years ago when I was in my early twenties and weighed in the mid to high 200s, 400 lbs. seemed to be super fat. Now that I actually am in the 400s it seems pretty “normal” and I know that I will get fatter over time.
I was super fat in my twenties and only saw it in the south and now I see it everywhere
