What is your struggle food?

SumoSized:
Strawberry mochi, I can devour those things boxes at a time

Munchies:
Strawberry mochi as a struggle meal? Damn

Where I live, any kind of mochi is a treat because that shit is expensive

SumoSized:
Over here it's like $5 a box so it's not the cheapest snack ever, but sometimes on weekends I'll treat myself too it

Ah, so that's a sweet treat thing, not a struggle meal.

What's your struggle meal?

My outie belly button

HappyBigBelly:
It really depends on the person.

When I slowly grew a ball belly over the course of the last 15-20 years, my “innie” simply got a little deeper.

My wife was already big gal when we met, but I can say her innie has become almost an outie. Getting even heavier the past 10 years has pushed hers out more.

Visceral fat makes your navel stick out. Subcutaneous fat makes it sink in.

In awe of our own before and after pics

HappyBigBelly:
Like most encouragers here, I love seeing people’s pics from before they got fat, and then admiring their progress. I have to say I’m in awe of mine and my wife’s gain through the years.

I was quite the skinny guy until my 30s and had no belly at all. My ball belly grew during that time to what it is today. I’m in amazement how it’s gone from visible ribs to a big ball of visceral fat :-)

My wife was quite petite when she was a preteen. Then genetics and her first two pregnancies came and her weight blew up immensely. She’s always loved showing off her shoulders, even way back when. One pic has her wearing a strapless halter with these cute little bony shoulders back then. Literally gained about 150 pounds by the time she was 22 and went from just having large breasts to having a humongous belly and soft, luscious arms and legs :-) Neither of us looks like the same person in our befores and afters :-)

Anyone else look someone completely different in their afters?

Zowee:
I can definitely say that I do in many ways, like my face was very sleek and now I have chubby cheeks and a double chin. It’s obvious I put on a ton.

It suites you!

Necroposting question

Morbidly A Beast:
It’s not to say that they are a bot or are an ai but they are using tools that scan the site

Oh yeah, that is definitely happening to some degree. But I'm not convinced this is what is happening here unless you mean they are scanning the site to look for relevant topics to post about.

Sometimes, the replies are very low-effort. But other times, I can tell a lot of thought went into what they posted.

Necroposting question

Morbidly A Beast:
I think the necro posting is a result of AI or Bots

Nah, because some of those people I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are real people.

I'm not saying that there aren't bots that do something, but I've encountered comparatively few bots in my years on this site. Most of the weird shit that happens involves an actual person behind the computer.

My outie belly button

Alexreedus123:
ok so hear me out... I'm pretty skinny, and i've always been self conscious of my outie belly button... There's a part of me that wonders if i get chubby enough (provided that the fat i get is largely soft) if my outie may someday turn into an innie... Any experience from anyone in this regard? Any outie belly button appreciators :&apossmiley

It's very common for thin people to have outies. Unfortunately, gaining weight is not a promise it will be an innie. It depends on what kind of fat you gain.

Necroposting question

Munchies:
Hey all!

I've noticed an uptick in necroposting lately, and I'm curious as to why. When I say necroposting, I'm specifically talking about posting to threads that have been dead for a year or more.

I've seen people necropost to personal ads long after OP left. I've seen people bump 14 year old threads where the majority of the users either deleted or are no longer on the site. Just last night, someone bumped a 4 year old post to leave personal medical data.

This is not a call out post. I'm genuinely curious as to why you do what you do.

I appreciate all of your responses!

Spoilsandriches:
I don't think people read or pay attention to the posts

Munchies:

You're not wrong

But at the same time, there are people that actively and knowingly necropost. See that guy who necroposted to a 4 year old thread to share his medical records.

Spoilsandriches:
Certified bruh moment

Truly.

As best I can tell, he wanted to post on a pre-existing thread that was related to what he wanted to talk about.

And fair.

But why the aversion to creating a new post? Medical records aside, that is.
