Interesting development

I am now back at my normal weight, along with my firm abs. While she keeps gaining, unintentionally.
A week ago she told me that she is jealous of how I am all fit and firm while she keeps on gaining (I think it has to do with her change of metabolism...). So I offered for us to workout together, and she gladly excepted my offer.
Since she is all out of shape, I suggested we start with a short walk.
To my pleasure I saw how she struggled to squeeze herself to her new tights. Ladies, why do you think you have to wear tights for a walk and not just any kind of pants? not that I care, on the contrary I love it!
I loved seeing her jiggle as we walked, however she didn't... She even mentioned that it bothered her to feel how she jiggled while we where walking! needless to say she didn't workout since...
What else can I do to make her feel good about her body?! While she knows I prefer her like this


From where I sit, I don't think your partner really knows what she wants. She complains about how unfit she is without doing anything about it. She also has some ... interesting ideas about gender rolls that I think are making it harder for her to decide what she wants. As such, there's only so much you can do.

She knows you find her attractive, and that's good. Keep making sure she knows how sexy you find her. But you also need to make sure she knows you will love her and find her attractive at any size.

You are already helping her get back in shape without pushing her one way or another. If you buy groceries or do the cooking, make sure there are healthy yet tasty options for her. But outside of that, she has to figure out what she wants for herself. You can't help her with that.

I'm sure there was a gainer article a couple of years back which explained what foods were good to gain visceral and subcutaneous fat.. I didn't save it, which is a real shame.


That's just it, though. There aren't any such foods that are good for gaining one type of fat over the other. That's not how the body works. It outlines this in the article as well.

It's mostly a genetic and hormonal level thing.

Sounds like you've got a good deal of viceral fat. Since this is fat around your organs, it pushes up the base of your navel making it shallow. Meanwhile subcutaneous fat is fat under the skin. As such, it makes the navel deeper.

Yes, that would be right.. I've gotten a bit more subcutaneous fat, but not nearly enough to deepen my belly button..

Any advice for adding just subcutaneous fat would be great... Then I can truly soften up and get a nice deep belly button..

I want to be clear that it is difficult to impossible to only gain one kind of fat. Even if you do succeed in gaining more subcutaneous fat, you *will* gain visceral fat with it.

Im on week of gaining with heavy cream and im up about 15 pounds but the last few day's ive lost my appetite and energy this is probably due to a eating unhealthy food which has in turn affected my mood. I have moments now where I loose momentum and want to start trainning and loosing weight to feel better but ive decided to get through this by eating healthier options and vitamins with an increase on heavy cream and see how it goes. Im going to do that for a week before I make any drastic decisions like to loose the weight ive just worked so hard to gain


People on this site act like heavy cream is liquid gold or something, and they really shouldn't. I'm not against heavy cream, but it isn't without it's downsides.

With it's high fat content and lactose, it can be very difficult to digest heavy cream in large quanities as a beginner. It is better to consume it in smaller amounts and work your way up to larger amounts or cook with it instead.

Of course, eating what you normally eat, but in larger quantities is better. Having seconds or just multiple smaller meals throughout the day.

Don't be in a hurry to get fat. Let your body get used to it. 15 lbs in a week is too much too soon. No wonder you have no appetite.

Why are you guilty? Is it because you gained fat or lost muscle? I highly doubt you lost muscle after only two weeks. That's not enough time to experience muscular atrophy. Odds are you are simply less toned. Not the same thing.

If you want to be more cut, more power to you on that. 100% achievable. But you can also turn the cream gains into muscle. You can also continue gaining, but build muscle while you do it. I.e. bulking

If you want to cut, you need yo cut back on the carbs and sugar. Also eat cleaner (limiting processed foods, eating more fruits, lean meats, etc).

You also need to work out more. Cardio helps with fat burning, but do not neglect your weight training as well to build up muscle mass.

And please, please, PLEASE do not forget to warm up, cool down, and stretch.

Wanting to gain weight but not be too fat

I want to gain weight but at the same time stay below 210lbs, and you might say just gain to 210lbs but I know myself and if I get up to that I might just going passed 210lbs with out even knowing, Also I’m afraid if I get that big I might not be able to lose the weight.
What should I do?


If that's your limit, you'll just have to maintain it. This does mean you'll have to exercise and not overdo it with the food. 100% doable, but it does require effort on your part.
