Munchies:
If you have very moist bread or live in a warm, damp environment, it will mold. Putting it in the fridge will slow it down, but only so much. The freezer is the best way to go about it, as it's too cold for the spores to take hold.

Yep, with this being the little ol’ South, it’s always humid out — even when it’s cold temps outside.
The fridge works out well enough. Wouldn’t leave the buns uneaten too many days anyway!

Food can't spoil if you eat it first.
Hence this site, ha :-)

Interesting development here, especially as this thread is going. Had some large rolls for chicken sandwiches on the kitchen counter and still sealed in the bag. They sat on the counter for just 36 hours and they already had mold spots on them. Good thing I had some buns in the fridge available. Made the sandwiches and simply warmed the buns on reheat mode in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
Bread truly is difficult to keep mold-free these days!

My wife likes to say she’s built like a big bowl of pudding. I just tell her she’s MY bowl of pudding, and I love her for it :-)

Wife and I were once so stuffed from a fried fish-and-fixins joint that we could barely keep our pants buttoned and still feel comfy enough to drive home. Both our bellies were so stuffed and felt so huge. So we just simply took our pants off and drove home pantsless :-) It was at night, so no one saw us :-) I don’t think, anyway!

My wife can easily take up half the bed, at 340-ish pounds. But she’s quite accommodating to move over a bit when I climb into my side.

The struggle can be quite real for those in warm climes, like me. Much of the time, I put bread and burger buns in the fridge to avoid molding. No room in the kitchen for one of those bread boxes.

Simply happy I didn’t ever mess with Feabie. I’ve read nothing but negative things about it.

The best of us here on the site always treat folks with the utmost respect. A few bad actors over time here and there, but it’s quite supportive. No one should be treated as though they’re “less than.”

Welcome to the site :-) Hope you enjoy it here. Granted, there’s a few who are here solely to build their PayPal account. Simply ignore those people and have a good time!
