Other changes over time included removing the "Poor" option on photos, and removing the "Real/Fake" meter on profiles, if anyone's interested.

@Maes: There's a number of pricing plans and either the Gold or Dating memberships, found under the 'membership' button near the top of the screen.

Also, there's things like 260 photos coming in per day, using more server space which = more costs.

The site has to make more revenue to cover it's monthly costs. Site's gotten bigger, costs have gone up.
