Trust you instincts, you've written a delightfully dark story so far. Not every tale has a happy ending. Go to the stories section. You can do all kinds of searches for topics, characters, most recently updated. That way, you can find authors who share your passions. You can do the same searching pictures for artwork. And there are forums for writers, artists, poets and the like.
