Just posting here that the old chat is under 'video chat' and the new/beta chat is under 'text chat', in the chat options.

-You can see who's in chat by clicking the 'online' tab in chat.
-Replies can be made to people by clicking 'reply' next to their post.
-Private Chats can be initiated with someone by clicking 'chat' next to their post, or the 'chat' button listed for them in the 'online' tab to the left.
-Options for post color, scroll toggle and sound toggle are available in the lower right part of the chat.
-IMPORTANT NOTICE: Currently clicking another links in chat will take you out of the chat, which includes private chats. It's best to open someone's profile in another tab to view it if you need to.
