5lbs in two weeks????
One more point, I gain easily now due to my age. I’m over 65 and i’ve gained Two to three pounds in just a coupe days of overeating.

I would buy clothes in smaller sizes, you could wear now. This let you feel fatter without gaining. Thrift stores are the best for this.

I have say, I totally agree with your situation, I just the gain. The fact that my wife is obese just makes even more satisfying.
