Mother's blessing

Chapter 2 - Meeting Amber

My first day at school sucked big floppy donkey dick. It was bad enough I almost burned my classmates foot off when I knocked the steaming hot cauldron of soup over onto him, but the worst part was the teacher.

Mr. Kuipers was a true piece of work. Ever see that goofy show Hell's Kitchen where the demented cook shouts at the startled patrons who work under him? Well, imagine an ex-marine in his 60's with that mentality and you got Mr. Kuipers. Apparently if you didn't cook meat that had a specific shade a pink or baked a cannolli that wasn't exactly perfect he would kindly throw your efforts against the wall in front of everyone. Needless to say more than once I felt like throwing HIM up against the wall....or through it, whichever came first. I thought it was going to be a long year until I looked over and saw this extremely beautiful girl working a few stoves from me. She was almost exactly the same size as Lydia when we first met...come to think of it, she was shaped almost the same. While this girl's boobs weren't as large as Lydia's, her stomach was as round as the tires I wanted to run Mr. Kuipers over with. Physically she was gorgeous but did she have the same acceptance and image issues that Lydia did? Would she laugh at me for being yelled at by the teacher? Would she be interested in hanging out later?........Why am I asking you?

Eventually the day was over and she finally locked eyes with me. She smiled a forced one as she gathered up the overpriced books they made us buy never mind the fact that 3/4 of the class were probably cooking since they got out of diapers. I watched her walk out and sure enough she had the same wide butt Lydia had. I thought they could be related but I sure as hell hoped not.

I made my way to the cafeteria to grab a bite to eat before I caught the train back to Robbinsdale. As I was sitting at the table I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and smiling at me was the girl in my class.

"Hi, mind if I sit here?" She asked

After spitting a few sentence fragments out I managed to murmur "Absolutely."

She giggled and sat next to me. She introduced herself.

"My name's Amber, nice to meet you."

She stuck her hand out, she had cute little fat fingers. I shook her hand "I'm Jake, nice to see a friendly face for once."

She giggled again, I could get used to that laugh. She said "Don't worry about Mr. Kuipers, he's tough on new students."

I cracked a smile "You've had him before?"

"Oh no, my mother had him when she was younger."

I wanted to say "Your mom can cook? So that's how you got your gorgeous figure!" but I didn't want her to hit me with one of the cookbooks she had placed on the table in front of her.

Instead I said "Nice to know your family appreciates the art of cooking."

She blushed, her cute cheeks turned red "Aww thank you. My mom's a chef, my dad..." she paused "Not so much." I said "Nobody is perfect. My mom can't cook for shit and my dad's not much better."

She said "Least you know how to do it. There's hope for you yet." She then looked at her watch and said "Hey, I got to run" I thought to myself "You? Run? Ha!" but managed to say "It was nice meeting you." She smiled, gathered her books and said "I definitely will be seeing you in class tomorrow, take care."

As she walked off I thought to myself, maybe the year won't be so bad after all.
