chapter 4

Chemistry went pretty smoothly, I was called out for being late but I did my work, my grades weren't the best, but at least I didn't have F's, I had D's and C's mostly, but that was because I wouldn't come to class or participate as much as I should have, I had a C in Chemistry, but I could very well have at least a B, that changed later on but we're too early in the story to be telling future details, interestingly I went to my first 4 classes for a change, I didn't know why I just did, then lunch came and I could hear my stomach going wild, I had forgotten to eat breakfast that morning so I was starving, when I went to the cafeteria and saw the line it was long as hell, so I decided to just come back later so I went to the library and sat down at a computer and played online for a little bit having my earphones plugged in and playing Slither.io, I enjoyed playing that game to be honest it was fun, I don't know why but it was, "Hehehe death~." I said to myself as a successfully killed some snake online and had mine eat up all the remains, I didn't even notice somebody had sat next to me, "Having fun there?" said a male voice and I jumped a little at the sudden voice and looked to my right to see a dude I'd never seen before, he had one half of hair shaved down low with a design of lighting etched into it, his hair was a dark purple color and he had a lip piercing in and he wore a long sleeved white T-shirt and blue blue skinny jeans with suspenders hanging down and zipper goin up the side and wore white high top sneakers, he also had a silver chain, and he had brown eyes and freckles and was a kinda pudgy, "Oh, yeah." I said, at a loss of what else to say, "My name's Lain, L-a-i-n, what's yours?" he asked, "Uh, it's Castiel, C-a-s-t-i-e-l." I said, why did I just spell my name out? Was that supposed to be funny? Lain chuckled, guess it was funny, "Nice name, I'm new here, transferred in from from New York." he said, now that I thought about it, he did have a bit of accent, "New York?" I asked, "Yeah, NYC to be exact, I miss it a little but it's okay, I did come back to my home town after all~." he said, "Home town? You lived here before?" I asked, "Yeah, long time ago, I moved when I was in the thrid grade, it was hard at first but I got used to it, now I kiss NYC but my mom said we'd go back next year maybe, after all I got family up there." said Lain, "That's cool I guess." I said, "Uh which school do you go to while you lived here if ya don't mind me asking?" I went, "Sweets Elementary of course!" said Lain, Sweets Elementary? That was my school, I stared at him for a bit and looked at his freckles and his brown eyes, "....Lain Brain?" I asked, Lain gave me a big toothy grin, "Long time no see~".
