chapter 5

The girls took the elevator down to deck 3. There was a small line that led into double doors with the words dining room over it.
"Must be it," Christina pointed, and the girls got in line.
The line moved quickly, and the girls could see why. Once inside the girls grabbed a tray and were witness to a massive buffet. There were food stations all along the walls of the dining room offering everything from short order burgers to pizza, pasta, Chinese food, sandwiches, a BBQ and more. The most astounding feature was the entire back wall was a desert bar. There were ice cream stations, chocolate fountains and even, "Is that cotton candy?" Emily asked a little too loud. A woman walked by with a plum of cotton candy on a stick. It smelled so sweet and rich. "Excuse me where did you get that?"
"Huh, ohh, right back there." The woman pointed to a stand in the corner with a man twirling pink and blue strands of cotton candy and set them out on a stand for guests as they walked by.
"This is heaven, I have died and gone to heaven." Emily said almost dreamily.
"And I am so glad you took me to heaven with you."
The girls decided on a table and then spread out hitting station after station filling their trays. When they finally met back up at the table, Emily was a bit surprised that her tower of pizza and a burger with a side of chocolate dipped strawberries and cotton candy wasn't the biggest. Christina was sporting a leaning tower of pasta and sauce with two slices of garlic toast. On the side she had collected a small tiramisu, and two more to match. She had some ribs and a baked potato. Cassi came in third this round with a plate full of noodles, egg rolls, some sushi, a slice of cake and ice cream.
"Wow Christina, you know you can make more than one trip."
"Well maybe I plan on it."
The girls laughed and dug in. Emily ate the pizza and her burger quickly. The pizza sauce was sweet and the cheese nice and gooey. The burger was juicy and fresh with a thick slice of melted cheese on top. She had added a bit of crispy bacon as well. She paused for a moment to have a drink before moving on to her desserts. The strawberries were delightful. There were three different fountains to use that went from white chocolate to milk chocolate to dark chocolate. She had 3 strawberries dipped in each kind. "mmm."
"I know right." Cassi said through a mouthful of noodles. Emily watched as she slurped up the noodles and grabbed and egg roll. She noticed a slight sheen of oil around her friend's mouth. She watched as Cassi opened wide and took a big bite of her egg roll before taking a large swig of soda. "Urrp. Ohh its really good."
Christina didn't talk at all she just ate and ate. She looked like a girl on a mission. Emily had seen her run track with this kind of focus. She didn't lose her focus if someone passed her on a run, instead she would keep her pace and outlast her opponents. But now in this game of food she kept the pace bite after bite hardly paying attention to the world around her.
Emily returned her focus to her own meal. "Oh I love you cotton candy." She picked each piece off slowly enjoying the moment.
"Yeah cotton candy is pretty great." Ryan had come don to join the girls and Emily nearly jumped out of her seat. "Sorry didn't mean to scare you but while I got you all here say cheese." He pulled up a camera and snapped a few photos.
Emily gave a cute pose holding her cotton candy close to her face. Cassi put down her egg rolls and gave a seductive look into the camera flexing her chest to show off her assets. Christina looked up quickly while still chewing and returned to her meal. Ryan snapped a few more photos of the girls and then turned to a tray behind him.
"Almost forgot, here part of the contest I brought you some slurpees."
"Perfect just what I needed," Emily said. She took a long sip of the cool drink.
"Mind if I join you girls."
"No problem Ryan." Emily said cheerfully. She took a bite of one of her strawberries. The dark chocolate was such a powerful taste that blended well with the sweet strawberry. "So do you work for 7-11 or what exactly?"
"No, I am more of an independent agent. I manage events like this and work up the publicity."
"Well that sounds interesting, what other events have you done?"
"I've set up a couple of concerts, and gave away some cars but this is the biggest event I've been a part of. Before that I was a talent manager."
"For models?" Cassi finally perked up and joined in.
"Sort of, no one you guys would know exactly."
"So, how did you get into being a manager, did you study it in college?"
"No, I studied photography actually, and a little bit of filming. That's my real passion." Ryan lifted his camera and too another shot of Emily as she took a bite of her strawberry.
"And you girls, are you in school now?"
"No," Emily answered for the group. "We decided collectively to take the year off to work and save money for school. Don't want to go in debt."
"Ohh I know all about that. That was how I got my first photography gig."
"What like birthdays?" Cassi asked bluntly before taking a bite of cake.
"A little more x rated actually."
Emily spit out her slurpee and Cassi began to laugh.
"Yeah you get a photo degree in LA and the only way to make cash is to take a couple photos and set up some websites for people.
"You won't see me doing anything like that," Emily said blushing. She never truly saw herself as beautiful or desired. She was just happy with who she was.
"Please, no one would pay to see a big girl like you," Cassi said with a smile.
"Actually, there is a big market for well, bigger girls." Ryan answered, perhaps a little too quickly. The scene would have been a little ore tense had Christina not abruptly stood up with her tray.
"Where are you going, back to the room?" Cassi asked.
"What, oh no just going to grab something else. I think I see a crepe station." Christina answered. She walked off to fill up her tray once more.
"Your friend has quite the appetite."
"Yeah she normally doesn't eat all that much."
Cassi stretched and looked down at her empty plates and sighed. "I don't know about you but after this I could use a nap."
"Me too." Emily said as she patted her belly.
"Well I was going to take a trip to the excursion desk to set up for the coming shore trip in Barbados." Ryan said. "Anything in particular you girls want to do?"
"Hmm, I don't know surprise us." Cassi answered.
They stood as Christina came back with her tray laden up again. "Hey, we will see you later, we are going to take a nap."
"Ok see you later." Christina sat back down and resumed her feast.
On the way out Emily stopped by the cotton candy and got another two to go. She took small bites as she and Cassi walked to the elevator and back to the room.
"So Ryan used to take naughty photos, and to think he told me to cover up these babies," Cassi said bouncing her breasts.
"Speaking of, did you notice how he is always offering us food."
"Uhh yeah, he is a manager, his whole job is to make us happy."
"I guess but, I mean he seems like such a nice guy."
"You mean hot," Cassi added as bluntly as ever.
"Yes, that too. I wouldn't mind my first time being with someone like him."
"Aww that's so cute," Cassi joked grabbing Emily's cheek."
"well if he is in that market for big girls then I think you have a chance."
The doors opened and Cassi walked out, Emily walked more slowly thinking that over for a minute. "In the market for big girls." She rubbed her hands over her belly as she walked back to her room. She laid down on her bed and slowly drifted off to sleep.
