Chapter 1 - Prologue
In the neighbourhood of Birchwood Estate lays a mysterious blue shed in the middle of an open lot. Many residents pass it, some pass it every day, but none ever take notice. No matter how much it stands out, no matter how in the way it might be, none ever take notice. For within this blue shed lies more than just simple tools, for it is the lab of THE PROFESSOR.The Professor is a mysterious figure whose name remains unknown to all who know of her. She wears strange clothing consisting mainly of denim, being a light blue denim jacket and blue pants with a blueprint pattern atop a colourful unbuttoned shirt atop a white singlet top. She wears light blue cateye glasses and a light blue beret as well as rock climbing shoes over a pair of cubist socks coloured pink, green and grey. She wears multiple bracelets and rings on her left hand and a purple and yellow fingerless glove on her right. Her hair is dark with dual ponytails coming off the back. She keeps a trim figure and while not visible due to her covering outfit, she is incredibly muscular with visible biceps, strong legs and a visible six pack.
While her presence is known in Birchwood, it is unknown where she is from or where she lives. Residents describe her as quirky or the more ignorant just as ‘weird’. In truth these are accurate descriptions, but are not all she is.
The most important trait of note of the Professor is that she is a genius. Her lab is a series of rooms that all serve a purpose but one more than others, the testing room. This is due to the focus of the Professor’s work, CHANGE. Well, specifically change within the human body. While this may seem innocent at first (depending on your gutter-mind level) it is barely so. The Professor often abducts or seduces innocent civilians and brings them to her labs and changes them in multiple ways, her personal favourite being the addition of fat cells to the body, and the physical change that ensues.
While this is her main focus in the subject of change, she also experiments with transmutation between humans and other animals, transforming humans into supernatural beings, turning humans into cyborgs, aging humans up or down, changing men into women and vice versa, and enlarging only certain body parts, to name a few.
Like her vision or the purpose of her experiments, her methods for abduction and seduction are unknown to those who have heard of her. She acts in secret, but not always at night, in the shadows but never far from the light. One may note, however, that she rarely takes men, and often takes women. It leaves one to speculate if her motives are of sexual origin, or if she simply seeks enjoyment in its simplest form.
Those she captures live not in fear but in comfort, depending on the change she decides to give. Once abducted they are drugged to sleep and brought to her lab, left to live in the underground living space that, as far as they know, is just her home. If they have been seduced, they move into her ‘house’ with her. This house is in truth just a simple looking home above her lab used as a front and to prevent her existence raising suspicion. Once testing begins they are taken during the night through the walls to the testing chamber, a room full of bland furniture and lacking any detail of note on the concrete walls and floor, where they are left to live for a few days before the serum the Professor has chosen is used on them, and the observation period begins.
The observation can last anywhere from minutes to months but the Professor never misses a thing. Once she has a subject, she will rarely grab a second before the testing is complete (unless of course it is a dual test). This period of time she enjoys more than any other time in the world, a time where she sees change in its purest form, if brought on unnaturally. It makes all of her work worth it.
After observation it is unknown what happens to the subjects. Are they returned to the wild? Are they disposed of in some way they will never be found? Are they kept in lower levels of the lab where they can intermingle, allowing the Professor to remember why she does what she does? Will her experiments backfire? Just wait, and you might just find out...

I wish it had been drawn out more and the changes slower... over time.
but it was still a fun read
