chapter 2

*Even though Hugh's real office was right by Peter's, he still had to go down to the 30th floor to look over the applicants to the secretary position in his other office. As he walked in the door, he saw three women sitting in chairs waiting to be interviewed outside. All three were dressed in business suits but only one was on the plump side*

H: Thank you all for coming, let's get this started.

*He pointed to the thin blonde woman*

H: You first.

*Hugh walked into his office and sat down in his spinning chair. The lady sat in the seat in front of him and noticed it was odd that it didn't have arms on it*

H: May I see your application Miss?

*The woman handed her application to Hugh. He looked it over*

H: Miss Anderson. Good, good....lot of experience. Good with customers and a fast typer. I'll definitely be in contact with you.

*Because of his deadpan delivery, the woman had no idea if he was serious*

H: Next please.

*After the thin blonde woman left, the thin brunette woman walked in and sat down*

H: May I see your application Miss?

*The brunette woman handed her application over and Hugh looked it over*

H: Miss Turner. Graduated top of the class at Oral Roberts University, good. Fast typer, even better. Keep your phone handy, we'll be calling you back. NEXT!

*Miss Turner looked startled by the shout and she left. The plumper looking woman walked in and sat down. Hugh leaned over his desk*

H: Hugh Sommers, nice to meet you.

*He stuck his hand out and the woman shook it*

Grier: Tina Potter, nice to meet you.

H: May I see your application please?

*Tina handed it over and Hugh got up from his desk and walked around. He leafed through it but was really checking Tina out in the chair. Her butt was round but not filling it out totally. Her suit fit her snug but not too tight. She looked to be in her mid 30's and her cheeks were on the chubby side but not noticeably filled out. If this was the best he was going to get, he was not going to complain*

H: Miss Potter, graduated from Syracuse U, 15 years experience, worked for Eason Enterprises...there's a name from the past. I like it....I'll definitely be in contact with you.

*Hugh sat back down and Tina shook his hand before she left. Hugh started to jot down her name with a pen to hire her when all of a sudden his door opened and a really fat woman waddled in. Her face was well rounded but nearly beet red and was sweating. Hugh's face dropped as the woman spoke.

Woman: *huff* Sorry...I'm *puff* late....it was a long walk *huff* from the elevator.

*Hugh cracked a grin*

Hugh: Have a seat mis.....

*He noticed the ring on her finger as she waddled to the chair*

Hugh: ...errr ma'am.

*The woman sat down on the chair and he could hear the creak a mile away. She heard it too and shuddered thinking she embarrassed herself. Hugh leaned over his desk*

Hugh: Hugh Sommers, VERY nice to meet you Mrs.....

*The woman extended her hand and they shook, her arm fat jiggled like crazy*

H: Heidi...Heidi Greer.

*Hugh thought to himself "Heidi Greer with the nice fat rear"

H: May I see your application please?

*Heidi handed it over and he got up from his desk to gloss over it while checking her out. Her clothes were way too tight and she was busting out of them. Her breasts were large and sagging down to her belly. Her belly looked to be hanging to her mid thigh while constrained by her work pants and blouse. The buttons on her blouse were clearly strained. Her thighs were enormous and her ass was taking up the whole seat and spilling over. Her hair was brown but graying. She must have been close to, if not over 400 pounds*

Hugh: I like it. Graduated from Miami University....in 1991. Born in 1970....30 years experience.

Heidi: Yes...I'm old.

*Heidi hung her head and Hugh noticed her double chin was on her chest*

Hugh: Nonsense, you're EXACTLY what I'm looking for.

Heidi: I am?

Hugh: Absolutely, when can you start?

Heidi: Right away I guess....

*Hugh shook her hand again so he could see her arm jiggle*

Hugh: 40th floor, 9 AM tomorrow.

*Ed the janitor had come in to empty the waste basket. Heidi slowly rose to her feet and shook Hugh's hand*

Heidi: Thank you so much, I wasn't expecting this.

Hugh: Well I'm happy you're happy.

*Heidi then shook Ed's hand and thanked him who seemed puzzled*

Hugh: Don't thank him he did nothing!

*Heidi waddled out the door and Ed shook his head at Hugh*

Ed: You gotta be kidding me.

Hugh: You know me Ed.

Ed: Yeah....yeah...

*Ed emptied the trash and walked out laughing. Hugh was grinning ear to ear*

Hugh: Well this is gonna be fun.
