Library Bliss (ai)

Chapter 1 - Bottom-Heavy Bliss

It hadn’t always been like this.

Just over a year ago, she was a tiny, sharp-featured blonde librarian with plaid skirts and precise calorie counts. But somewhere along the way—between her first solo pizza night and that third “just one more bite” of cheesecake—things had changed.

It started slowly. A slice of pizza while reading. Then two. Then an entire pie during a book binge. The pages turned, and so did the delivery drivers. Burgers. Fries. Cinnamon rolls. Pasta drowned in creamy sauces. Her meals went from thoughtful prep to whatever could be ordered and devoured with one hand while flipping through her latest novel.

She found her favorite chair, and then… she didn’t leave it.

Each morning she promised herself a walk, but it always got pushed back after breakfast—two buttered bagels, a sugary latte, and a couple of donuts. Her belly softened, but the real transformation was lower. Her hips widened quietly, subtly at first, as she sank deeper into the cushions of her ever-straining armchair. Her leggings, once loose, now clung tightly to every new curve and fold.

By the time she noticed, her backside had started to overflow every chair she owned. She waddled through doorways sideways. Her hips brushed counters, fridge doors, table legs—always leaving behind a creak or a nudge. Sitting down became an event, as her thick, dimpled thighs cushioned her down like a warm, jiggling landing pad.

And yet, she loved it.

She never moved unless absolutely necessary. The stack of delivery menus had a permanent home on her coffee table. Her phone knew the pizza place by heart. Her days were spent sprawled across the couch, surrounded by wrappers and novels, her massive lower half filling the space like soft furniture.

She chuckled one day as she looked in the mirror—her belly was round, sure, her arms thick, and her face adorably chubby. But her hips… Her hips had exploded. So wide, so fat, so soft. A single thigh was now nearly the width of her old torso. Her cankles pressed into the floor as if they’d never been meant for walking.

And that was just fine with her.

She didn’t need to go anywhere. Everything she loved was right here: food, books, and her ever-growing hips pressing softly into the edges of her world.
