Chapter 1 - my weight gain

So, true story:

Recently, I ran into an ex girlfriend whom I hadn't seen in a while. I've gone from a (mostly) muscular 215lbs to a fairly fat 250lbs in the past year or so. The last time she saw me I had just a slightly chubby pot belly, which she liked to tease me about..

I kind of didn't realize how much I've changed until I ran into her. When she saw me her eyes went wide and her mouth actually dropped open a little bit, and she softly gasped. Her reaction kind of startled me. Then I realized that I was wearing one of my tightest pair of pants- a pair of pants I had no choice but to button under my sizable gut, so I must have looked pretty pudgy indeed.

She walked up and immediately poked me in the belly and exclaimed: "Damn did you get FAT!" Mind you we were within earshot of a girl I have a crush on, who I noticed smirking in our direction.

My ex was with a friend of hers who always had something to say about my lack of "abs." She was a fitness nut, and she loved to say that my girlfriend was a "chubby chaser," even though I never had more than a 38 waist the whole time I was with her. Well, she just had to chime in with "how many months along are you now?"

I'm pretty sure I was turning very red by now, and I was desperately trying to suck in my stomach. My ex than said "look, you can't even suck it in anymore...!" as she giggled. I could tell she was enjoying this immensely. She even started patting my stomach, making it jiggle, which make her continue to giggle.

Anyway, long story short, we agreed to meet after I got off work to catch up, before she left town again. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to go home and change into something that fit better before I was supposed to meet her.

I walked in to the cafe, and saw she had got there ahead of me, and was eating a salad. On the other side of the table was a chocolate muffin. She actually stood up and gave me a hug when I walked up to the table, which surprised me. I was very conscious of my belly pressing up against her toned stomach as I hugged her, and she made a production of acting like she couldn't fit her arms around me as we hugged... So, anyway, I ate my muffin, and had a coffee, and we caught up. To make a long story short.

Anyway, that's a little story of my life. :)
