The Velvet Banquet

Chapter 1: A Taste of Temptation

The soft flicker of candlelight filled the room, casting a golden glow over the table I had carefully prepared. Every dish was placed with care, each bite meant to do more than just satisfy hunger. Tonight wasn’t just about food—it was about indulgence, about pleasure in its purest form.

The air was thick with the scent of warm caramel, melted chocolate, and buttery pastries. My dress hugged my body just right, making me feel confident, powerful. I had planned this evening down to the last detail, and now, all that was left was for him to arrive.

The sound of the door opening sent a thrill down my spine. Adrian stepped inside, his gaze locking onto mine, dark and full of something unspoken. He took in the scene—the candlelight, the feast, the way I was waiting for him. A slow smile spread across his lips.

“You look incredible,” he murmured, his voice smooth as silk.

I felt a flush rise to my cheeks but held his gaze, tilting my head toward the table. “Come,” I said softly. “Let’s enjoy ourselves.”

He stepped closer, reaching for a small spoon filled with chocolate mousse. Without breaking eye contact, he lifted it to my lips. I parted them slowly, letting the rich, velvety dessert melt on my tongue. The taste was deep, sweet, addictive.

“Good?” he asked, his voice lower now.

I nodded, swallowing. “More.”

He chuckled, but he obeyed, feeding me again—this time, dragging the spoon across my lips before slipping it into my mouth. The way he watched me sent a shiver through my body, the air between us growing warmer.

Every bite was a new sensation. The sweetness of caramel, the smoothness of custard, the crunch of delicate pastries—it all mixed with the feel of his fingers brushing against my skin as he fed me. His touch was deliberate, lingering just a little longer each time.

The room felt smaller, more intimate. The food, the flickering light, the closeness—it was all part of something deeper. I could see it in his eyes, feel it in the way he leaned in, in the way his hand rested lightly on my wrist as he offered me another bite.

“You like being spoiled,” he murmured.

I swallowed, licking a bit of chocolate from my lip. “Maybe.”

He smirked, his fingers brushing my chin before he reached for another treat. This wasn’t just a meal anymore. It was something more. Something deliciously tempting.

And we were just getting started.
