chapter 1

Listen to this chapter - just press play:
The Shiekah girl, Paya walked briskly through Kakariko Village. She was carrying groceries for herself, and her grandmother Impa.

She needed to get home in time to cook dinner, and do her evening prayers.

As she walked home, she walked past a small group of girls in conversation.

Paya did not usually like to listen in, but she couldn't help herself as she slowed down a bit to listen in.

"Did you hear that Link is into bigger woman?"

Paya nearly froze as she heard those words, but her stable part of her mind forced her to keep moving, eventually out of earshot.

The conversation continued.

"What do you mean by 'bigger woman'?"
"Apparently he's into those Gerudo woman, the really tall ones."
"So what you're saying is that he's into taller people?"
"Pretty much."
"Glad we got that caught up, some of us could of have taken that the wrong way"

These statements were true as a matter of fact. Link had never been the same since he came back from the Gerudo Deserts.

Paya of course, did not hear that, and was left with the statement that Link was into bigger chicks.

Paya tried to process this in a logical way, but all that she could think of is that he was into woman of a bigger size. As in a bigger mass. As in he was into fat chicks.

She tried to push these thoughts out of her mind as she continued her walk home. "H-He couldn't really be into bigger woman right?" "T-Those were just some rumors and gossip"

But then doubt creeper into her mind again as she considered everything she knew about him.

And then Paya had a thought.

"What if this is my chance to get Link to like me?"

She thought what would happen if she went forward with her current plan.

1. She would gain a tiny bit of weight. Just enough to get Link to notice

2. ???

3. Profit

The plan seemed easy enough, but she knew things were never too easy.

She walked up the stairs to the big head honcho, mayor, boss building house. Paya was never really sure of what it was.

Paya walked inside to find none other then Impa, sitting in her usual seat.

"Hello grandmother." Paya called out.
"Hello Paya" Impa replied

Paya wasted no time getting to the kitchen to get dinner ready. Plan or not, she still needed to pray. She set the water to boil, as she hurried outside.

Later

Paya placed the pot of soup on the table. It was larger the she'd normally cooked, but then again, she was planning to eat more the she'd normally eat.

She poured herself, and Impa a bowl, as they both sat down to eat.

"Mmmm" Impa exclaimed. "Your cooking is getting better Paya." Paya blushed, although she did not know if it was from the compliment, or how the soup was still piping hot. "Thank you grandmother"

Impa had retired back to her sitting space after a while, leaving Paya alone.

With the soup.

She was about to reach for a 3rd helping, when she thought to herself.

"I'm I really going through with this?"

She sat there for a few minutes, making war in her mind, while also making one of the hardest decisions of her life, before picking up ladle.

She was going through with her plan.
