The strange man and mark

chapter 4

As I walked with Mark, both of us realized we weren't all that far from places we were familiar with. He took me to the park to discuss our next course of action, including where we were going and how to get there. I was still so confused by what had even happened, amazed even. I looked at this man in front of me, admiring his beautiful dark eyes, chubby cheeks, and messy hair. He was perfect, whether he knew it or not. I caught him staring at me too.
"Are we going back to my place?" he asked. "Or..."
I nodded enthusiastically before he could give another option. Even if his place was too far to walk, I was in love and I wanted, needed, to spend more time with him in a more comfortable place than where we'd actually met.
We managed to get a cab, though when the driver saw us, bloated, sticky and ripped out of our clothes, he had some questions.
"What the hell happened to you guys?" the cab driver questioned. "Do I wanna know?"
Mark shook his head, laughing. The cab driver stayed quiet after neither of us truly answered. The ride across town remained quiet for some time. I leaned on Mark's shoulder, squeezing the layer of fat on his belly. He nuzzled my shoulder, though he was a gentleman and kept his hands to himself. I turned my head to look out the window of the taxi and saw something that gave me a frighten. I swore I saw Malakai running along side us, but he got lost in a crowd and the traffic. I held Mark's body even tighter, making him whine.
"What's wrong, Laura?" he asked, concerned.
I couldn't find the words. My fingernails dug into Mark's gut. He rubbed my back gently, and I released my grip on him. While it was kind of Malakai to introduce me to such a charming man as Mark, I certainly didn't enjoy his way of trying to fatten us up. I wanted to do things my way, even if I had to spend the rest of my life running away from Malakai.
I began to daydream about feeding Mark, cuddling him and letting him get bigger. He could do the same to me, both of us getting fatter and reaching numbers that were astronomically impossible before. I thought about it all the way to his house. I was shaken from my thoughts when Mark paid the cab driver. Both of us stepped out, feeling somewhat relieved. Once the cab pulled away and we were in past the gate, I admired the house. It was a gorgeous A-frame house surrounded by palm trees.
Mark took my hand and led me up the driveway, stopping by a small shrubbery.
"This is the last spot I remember being in before I woke up in one of those shower thingies," he told me. "I don't even know how he managed it."
He motioned to the large fence around the house. I had been in my own back yard when Malakai had kidnapped me. Things were kind of adding up with similarities, but not how one man was capable of kidnapping us both...
