Why yes. Yes I do.
When starting out, I think capacity is even more important than calories. The more you stretch out your stomach and the muscles around it, the more you can eat (obviously) and the hungrier you'll be when empty.
Working on this does not have to mean stuffing yourself constantly or painfully. If you go even a little past full as regularly as possible (ideally several times a day) it will gradually add up, until big meals start to feel like normal meals.
To kick off the process, make or buy a meal that's easy to count (e.g. chicken pieces, pizza slices) but way too big to finish.Do your best, then take note of how much you could have without feeling sick or sore. That becomes a benchmark/record for you to break every few days to a week, while gradually pushing your limits in between.
Meanwhile I highly recommend trying a vitamin B1 (thiamine) tablet every day for a week to see if anything happens. If you happen to have a B1 deficiency, the sudden boost can greatly increase your appetite. If not, it will at least help your body make use of the food you eat. Vitamin C can help too.
Best of luck.

It's slim pickings all right. I've been on Fantasy Feeder and Feabie since each of them began, and only ever met one member in real life. I live in a capital city too.

I stand corrected, at least technically, but the only practical advice I can glean from all that is to favor whole grain over white bread and avoid high fructose corn syrup, and there’s no clear indicator of how effective that will be.

You have little or no control over where newly stored fat is distributed around your body, and that includes whether it becomes visceral or subcutaneous. To gain subcutaneous fat you must simply gain fat; eventually some of it will go where you want, as it spreads everywhere.

softgainer:
I've just started a pint of heavy cream before bed every night three days ago. I'm really curious to see what that's going to look like a week or so from now.
A pint of heavy cream has about 1600 calories. After 7 days that is VERY roughly 3.2 pounds’ worth of calories. So if your diet is otherwise balanced, that’s how much you can gain by adding the cream.

Look at it this way: by telling him directly, you would be giving him the eternal gift of knowing exactly what turns you on without fail. Think about how valuable that is for anyone in a monogamous relationship. He should be grateful for the information and put it to use right away, and for the rest of your time as a couple.

Absolutely, it's a true thing that genuinely helps your case.
Do please let us know how it goes with them, you're certainly not the only one going through this.
