If you have gained a segnificant amount, and have lost fat (smaller fat cells). Your skin will have been stretched out, leaving you with flabby skin, that will may require surgery to correct.

That's correct, the less to be cleaned up the better. If it's easy one will be more inclined to use it as opposed to being a pain in the posterior.

I would think it is safe...most folks use an aquarium pump. They are quiet and with a subtle vibration. The air enters slow enough that it is never too painful.
It gets released like normal...poot!

Some types of butter will clog things up faster than others. I've heard to always use vegetable based oils and butters.
