What do you enjoy about your fat

It's a tie between eating whatever I want and the physical feeling of my fat. It's the perfect balance between squishy and springy! Such fun to play with. I love the feeling of jiggling too. It's a feeling unique to being fat.

Conflict for years - please help!

Hello, me in my teens and twenties! It's totally normal to feel conflicted about gaining. Deliberately getting fat is a huge taboo in Western society, so much so that a lot of 'normal' people can't even conceive of such a thing. And violating taboos is as frightening as it is hot.

For me, the tipping point came when I discovered that to maintain a doctor-approved weight, I had to eat so little that I was always, always hungry. I stopped eating dinner while I was still hungry. I went to bed hungry and woke up hungry. After a while I just couldn't do it anymore. I wanted to be full, dammit. If I did that I would gain weight, so why not go all the way and indulge my most secret fantasies?

You will get backlash if you decide to gain. Concern trolls will ooze out of the woodwork everywhere. You really have to cultivate a "fuck the haters" attitude in order to be confident and love yourself as a fat person in this society. It might be different in areas with higher levels of obesity, but I grew up in California and now live in Colorado, both very health-conscious places.

In summary: you need to do some serious introspection. Decide for yourself what you want from your life. Neither path ahead of you will be easy, so pick the one that will make you happy, whatever it might be.

Favourite video games?

Right now it’s Guild Wars 2 for me! Tons of fun, friendly community, and no subscription fee so it’s perfect for broke gamers like yours truly.

I loved the Mass Effect and Dragon Age games. I enjoy Plague Inc when I’m in the mood to destroy the world.

Sweating as a bigger person.

CustardCream:Is there anything I can do (changing jobs might be doable in the longer term but not an option at the moment) to help reduce the speed of the sweating? Any tips? All thoughts welcome!

If you figure it out, let me know. I gave up on wearing makeup because my face sweats so much. :/ There is facial antiperspirant designed for people with hyperhidrosis, but I hear it can be hard on the skin, and my skin is pretty sensitive thanks to rosacea.

What is your christmas & new years menu?

Christmas Eve: Chinese takeout, featuring crab rangoon, twice-cooked pork, orange chicken, and sesame tofu

Christmas Day: A big ham with hot German potato salad, my homemade cranberry-pear-ginger sauce, green beans with lemon juice and garlic, stollen, and an assortment of Christmas cookies for dessert.

New Year's Eve: Planning on homemade pizza

We don't usually do a big meal on New Year's Day.

Anyone else turned off by partner exercising?

Exercise doesn't make that much of a difference in weight gain if you're also eating a ton of calories. It does, however, help a fat person retain their mobility and health longer.

I personally enjoy gentle yoga for its calming effect on my anxiety, and swimming. I feel so graceful in the water, it keeps me cool (I overheat easily), and I'm always RAVENOUS when I get out of the pool. Pretty sure that the amount I eat post-swim more than makes up for the calories burned! If you're having trouble keeping up your appetite, take a quick swim.

Lost the ability to make myself get up

Getting up is definitely more of an effort than it used to be. I'm strong enough that it isn't a true struggle, per se, but I have to put more oomph into it. And yeah, I spend most of my time sitting these days. If I have to get up I try to do several things while I'm at it so I don't have to get up again for a while.

What to do about weight loss?

I feel you, I unintentionally lost about 20 pounds after moving from a one story to a two story house. I’m also in a small town now without as many options for eating out and no options for delivery.

What helped me was adding a small meal/large snack right before bed, around 11-midnight. At first I had to consciously remind myself to eat before bed. Now I’m hungry around that time, so much so that I can’t get to sleep without a full belly! It’s amazing how quickly the body adjusts to eating another meal. The amount I need to eat in order to get to sleep is increasing over time too.

Horny by eating specific things.

ShakesSphere:
Any item that a feeder had previously fed to me or told me to eat will be a turn on. I have several feeders, male and female, who fed me pizza or donuts while massaging my fat gut, so those foods always excite me.
But you could probably train me to get turned on from eating turnips if that's what you wanted to do!

Same, for me it’s more the environment than the food. Someone encouraging me to eat more, asking me to finish their leftovers, urging me to order dessert even though I’m already full, all of that is incredibly hot.

Expecting pants to fit - and they don’t

Yeah, I just shopped the after Christmas sales for new jeans. I can still get the 26s on, but they’re so uncomfortable when I sit down. They look like sausage casings on my thighs and around my belly!

I also decided to try some leggings. Normally I prefer pants with pockets, but leggings with a tunic top is a cute look, and they’ll probably fit longer than jeans will.
