Once we made the transition to prevalent requests for money, it was inevitable. We can surely expect more of it, especially if it is successful.

@Influx: There have been an increasing number of people asking for money. Not food, not advertising content, but asking for money. I was specific in what I said and meant what I said, not what other people imagine I "really" meant.

Interestingly, I did NOT lump them all together, by specifically addressing people asking for money. YOU DID lump them together when you assumed that is what I really meant.

@Influx: I did not link it to a rules change. In fact, I was not aware we had one. Why don't you quote the exact text where I referenced a rule change?

In fact I don't see where ANY comment on this thread referred to a rule change, advertising, or people asking for food except by you.

I see, "homeless and hungry line on here", "prevalent requests for money", and "we got bums at FF" but nothing like what you describe. And all in response to blatant begging.

It is not nice to trash people for expressing their opinions. It is worse to trash them for opinions you only image they expressed. You are wrong, just apologize and be done.

@Influx: I am not sure how to address you. Are you so injured that you can't help reading meaning into things that was never intended, or just a troublemaker who likes stirring things up?

As I said, I was not aware we had an actual rule change, and my comment clearly addressed "asking for money" not selling stuff, or asking for a feeder to send food. I certainly have noticed more posts asking for money subtly, and do think it is the nature of some people to push the envelope, to be increasingly blatant.

The other posts clearly were addressing what amounts to begging. So I did not link it to a rule change, you read "hidden meaning" into my post to see something that was not, and is not there. I have to say, I was unaware there was a rule change that allows begging and just plain asking for money here.

We COULD have a conversation about advertising to sell pics or looking for a feeder that will send food, but that is not was THIS conversation was about ... at least until you twisted it that way.

Sometimes there is no hidden meaning, no concealed agenda. Sometimes, people are talking about exactly what they say, not what you attempt to read between the lines.
