Ok, maybe Pudge is right, you can't just go assuming people are feminists. I asked if you were a feminist and got no answer. However Brooklynn24 you have decided I am a feminist even when I tell you I am not keen on them. In fact I think feminism is a sick extremist hateful ideology which ordinary people would be ashamed of if they knew what it was about. So no, I am not a feminist (I hope).

I just had a right ol' battle on that other site where a feminist said "stop teaching men from an early age that they are entitled to women's bodies". Or put another way start teaching little boys that rape is not ok.

Brooklynn I don't know if you're a feminist but if you knew a bit about the subject then you would know that the dictionary definition is out of date and incomplete if not outright WRONG. Feminism acts as if men and women are not of equal value and that women are actually more valuable. Also that when men are better at something than women then the men should be held back and the women given extra chances. It acts as if every time there are not enough women in science or football that men are to blame. But when there are not enough women collecting trash that that's OK.

Brooklynn I am with you on the equality thing. With the proviso that men and women tend to be interested in different things and their lives follow different paths. As long as the paths are open to both sexes then let them make their own choices. Calling yourself a feminist simply undoes all the good of saying you know we're equal. Calling other people feminists when they hate what feminist do is a bit rude. Count me out.

Indeed, feminism =/= female supremacy. Some practice the latter, which is widely frowned upon by feminists. The latter do get all the media attention, as mentioned. Kind of like how the outside world thinks feedism is represented by the movie Feed, which is incredibly inaccurate.
