Who is fooling who?

chapter 3

Paul and Tammy had changed into their swimsuits, which gave Paul a chance to admire Tammy's body once more. No one piece for her, Tammy had a bikini that pushed her boobs up and out, and let her belly hang over the minimal piece of fabric around her hips. Paul worried that his hard on would show as he admired her luscious body. His lust was interrupted when Tammy grabbed his arm. "My bestie is here, c'mon I want you to meet Christy!" She pulled Paul over to meet a cute, chubby blonde and her date. Paul noticed her first. Not as tall as Tammy, probably about five foot five. Probably weighed almost as much. Boobs not quite as big, but she more than made up for it with a huge belly, big hips and a pair of the thickest thighs Paul had ever seen. The second thing Paul noticed, once he managed to tear his eyes away from Christy's belly, was her date. He was the only other person at this party who wasn't fat. Like Paul, he was close to six feet tall, probably about 180, blue eyes and blonde hair. Paul pegged him as a chubby chaser like himself, or else he wouldn't be here. There were introductions all around, his name was Jim, and soon everyone was relaxed, talking, drinking and eating.

Like all parties, groups formed, dissolved, and new groups formed. That gave the girls time to talk, speculating about Paul and Jim and how long their waistlines would remain unchanged. Paul, for his part, had a couple of conversations with the other guys there, which ended up with comments about how much everyone liked to eat. He got a couple of comments like, "Better watch out, buddy. Keep hanging around with us and you'll have a belly like this, too!" Or, "The last guy Tammy brought here gained 20 pounds and ran off. Hope you're a better man than that!" Paul laughed along with them. He hadn't ever been in a relationship where the girl wanted to fatten him up, and he hadn't really thought about Tammy seriously wanting to make him fatter. Hell, this was really only their third date. Talking to some of the guys, he started to piece together a common thread. The girls were all friends or cousins, and they all ranged from plump to downright fat. Each of the guys that Paul talked to had started dating one of the girls and had sort of joined the circle. And each one gained weight. Over and over Paul heard, "Yeah, she likes feeding me," usually following by patting their round, fat belly.

Eventually, the four of them ended up back together. They had all been drinking beer for several hours, so they were relaxed, and inhibitions were down. Tammy spoke up. "Look at how skinny these men are. Hasn't anybody ever fed you boys?"

Paul laughed and said, "I guess not, looking at us."

"Well don't you worry, next time you see Jim," Christy ran her hand across his flat belly, "I'll have rounded him right out." Jim laughed, enjoying the attention, especially the warmth of Christy's hand across his belly. Paul could tell Jim wasn't taking this seriously. Well neither was he.

"Oh, Christy, you don't know how to feed a man. I guarantee you, when we see other again, Paul will have a real belly and poor Jim," she made a pretend pout at him, "will still be starving." Diane was standing by them. Paul had forgotten about her, although it was her house so it shouldn't have surprised her that she came to join the conversation.

"Ladies, do I hear a bet coming up? Are you two ready to put up or shut up?" Now we had attracted a crowd. We were surrounded by a gaggle of fat bellies hanging out. Tammy answered right away.

"Hell, yes! I can fatten a man up in no time! No way you can do it like I can, Christy!"

Christy wasn't backing down a bit. "Really? I'll have a belly on this man before you can say all you can eat buffet!" This got a big laugh from the crowd. Apparently, they liked two things. Contests, and getting fat. About that time, Diane's husband Mark walked up, carrying, of all things, a bathroom scale. Diane smiled at her husband and then turned to the crowd.

"Okay, tell you what. This is Memorial Day weekend. So Independence Day weekend is in, what, a month in a half?" There was a murmur of agreement from the crowd, and a few geeks whipped out their phones to give her the dates. "Shall we have a contest?" Diane yelled. The crowd roared their approval. "So let's weigh these skinny boys," waving in our direction, "and on Independence Day weekend, we'll all come here and see who," waving toward Tammy and Christy, "has fattened up their boyfriend the most!" That got another roar out of the crowd, and suddenly Paul found himself pushed onto the scale.

"One hundred and seventy-seven pounds!" shouted Mark. Paul stepped down and Jim stepped up. Mark read the scale, "One hundred and eighty-two pounds!" he yelled. We were all pretty buzzed by that point and this all seemed like good fun. Paul turned to Tammy and she said, "What do say, babe? Ready to take them on?" Tammy hugged Paul, turned to Christy and Jim and said, "You're going down! My man is going to have a belly that will put you to shame!"

Christy laughed and bellowed, "I'll have this man's belly sticking way, way out," with her hand waving in front of Jim's belly, "and your poor man doesn't stand a chance!" The crowd was loving it. Paul was pretty drunk by this time, and he wasn't really thinking through what this would mean. It just seemed like a fun contest. A month or so of overeating, gain a few pounds, win the contest, move on. Paul looked over at Jim and he looked back with a smirk, and patted his belly. He was as drunk as Paul was, and neither one was taking this seriously. The girls, though looked deadly serious.

Love page 7, especially Jeff and Marty's typically casual 'guy' response to Paul's big meal.
