Chapter 9 - more targets

Adam made himself CEO of the whole company. The human CEO was too caught busy eating to even notice.
As the humans grew too big to walk and look after themselves, they were moved by aznians initially to the space station where they were cared for.
As the aznians grip on humanity grew, they were moved again to giant warehouses where they were looked after and kept very well fed.
The aznians took over a company who produced ready meals for various supermarkets, next. They started slowly infiltrating the company as Adam and Barbara had done. Then Chef Alcorn was employed and they dished out his stew.
The staff gradually came more and more under aznian influence until all they wanted to do was eat. When productivity dropped, Christopher, the new aznian CEO of the readymade company, stopped production of all their previous food lines and replaced them all with chef alcorn's Famous beef stew.
They promoted the stew in every possible format that they could. They did a chilled version and a frozen version and sold them on to the supermarkets.
To follow the home sales up, Christopher made what appeared to be standard adverts for the stew, but in fact, they were riddled with hidden messages that would force those who had tried the stew to double their calorie intake, yet for those who had not yet tried it, the adverts appeared completely innocuous.
People all around the country in seemingly random pockets were getting fat, very fat! What was causing the obesity epidemic? Why were seemingly ordinary people suddenly becoming so greedy?
The government commissioned an enquiry. They had scientists, economists and nutritionists look into the causes. Unfortunately, as soon as they started to gather the information, they too became victims of the so called obesity epidemic. They could not be arsed to analyse the data any more when there was so many tastes and textures of great food to enjoy.
The data acquired by the enquiry was manipulated by the aznians. By the time the report was published, it promoted obesity and morbid obesity over slimness. They claimed it was healthy to be fat and inactive.
Major fashion houses changed their long held visions of an ideal woman. Instead of stick thin reeds or even shapely figures, the ideal woman was fat. Even plus sized models had to gain weight to fit the new fashion ideal. So called standard sizes in everyday fashion shops became three sizes larger.

If it was not for the aznians, the entire economy would have collapsed! The humans could not be bothered to go to work any more. All they wanted to do was eat and the aznians ensured that the richest most fattening foods were cheap and easily available twenty four hours a day, every day.
