Chapter 2

I was wearing my pajamas and I had slid on my sneakers so I wouldn’t have to touch the bare ground. Oh god. I got even more nervous as I passed Cabin Willingness and Cabin Hope. I saw the light in the cabin was still on and I knocked before entering even though this was now just as much my room as theirs.

“What the fuck is Scarecrow doing here?” I knew that voice. It was the voice of the only guy who calls me scarecrow, Colton Evers. He’s one of the guys who’s beaten me up before. He’s number 44 on the football team and plays on the offensive line.

Colt is about 6’4 and I know he must weigh at least 300 pounds. His hair is an extremely pale blond and he wears it low, like a buzz cut. His eyes are also pale, but blue. His neck is thick, his thighs are thick, and his arms are thick. He’s just an all around thick kind of guy. I could see why he was sent here. As mean as Colt was to me, I did think he was pretty hot.

“Yeah Rory, I don’t think you need to be at a fat camp.” That was said before a deep, rolling laugh. That was “Big Mike” Young. He is big. He’s taller than Colt, but sweet. Well, nice. He’s practically the only person who ever actually speaks to me in a kind way.

Mike’s got to be about 6’8 and if I had to guess, his weight is hovering somewhere between 340 and 370. Mike always wears his soot-colored dreadlocks in a ponytail. I’ve never seen his hair down. He has skin the color of a caramel hard candy and dark brown eyes. Mike doesn’t carry his weight like Colt. Colt’s belly is noticeable, but in a beefy sort of way. Mike’s stomach is round and full looking even when he hasn’t eaten anything. He is also on the football team, but on the defensive line, number 69.

“He works here dumbass.” I glanced over at Colin Kennedy. Everybody calls him Rusty because of his rust colored hair. I had always wondered if his pubic hair was just as brilliant as the hair on his head. His hair was short, but not as short as Colt’s. It had just the right amount of length.

Rusty plays rugby and is team captain. He has bottle green eyes with flecks of hazel and full pouty lips. He’s never shown any sort of interest in me. I guess that would be considered indifference. He’s taller than Colt as well, but not by a lot. He’s a bit bigger as well, maybe around 320 pounds. He’s beefy and has larger thighs. His ass is perfect and round, like a circle was cut in half and placed right below his lower back.

“Yes, that’s right. I am…going to be, uh, working here this summer. As a fitness and exercise counselor.” I felt my face redden suddenly. Everyone was looking at me, like I was some sort of intruder.

“Then why the hell are you in OUR cabin, Mr. Counselor?” Asked Faiz Aguilar. Faiz’s mother was from India, and his father was an American Hispanic. He was cute, but I think he had a bit of a Napoleon Complex. He was overly aggressive. He’s beaten me up too, but I think it’s only because Colt edged him on.

Faiz is a wrestler and only about 5’6. He’s a chubby little guy though. A BEEFY, chubby, little guy. He’s one of the best wrestlers on our team, and usually faces taller opponents because he’s got such a large mass. He probably weighs 230 or more.

“They needed my bed for someone else, and since we’re all the same age they told me I had to stay with you guys. Sorry.”

“It’s nothing to be sorry about; it’s not your fault.” Mike said with a gentle smile.

“You’d better not fucking queer out on us.” Said Colt. “Your bed’s to your left.” Fuck! I was standing in front of the door, and directly to my left was a single bed.

“Okay.” Was all I said, casting my eyes down to the ground. I had to make sure I didn’t even look Colt’s way, or I’d end up with a broken face.

“If you want, I’d take that bed.” Colin offered. I shook my head no. I refused to be a burden.
