Points mean prizes

chapter 3

Week two was not so easy. He had to get ten points this week. He had to accomplish everything from the first week and in addition...
1 point for not helping with the household chores. (He thought that was a strange one, what kind of hunsband would he be if he didnt help his wife out around the house?)
1 point for eating all his meals. (That would not be that straightforward. He often skipped breakfast)
1 point for not going to the gym.
1 point for wearing what Sylvia told him to wear
1 extra point for not flirting.

Again Tom was sure it was going to be easy. However, he was in trouble on the very first day!
Hed got ready as he usually did. Hed got up with the alarm, had a shower and a shave, got dressed in his work clothes, made the bed, grabbed a slice of toast then headed out to work.
Sylvia told him he was slipping into arrears. He had worn his own choice of clothing. He had made the bed... that was a household chore that he was not supposed to do. He was about to point out that making the bed was not really a household chore. It was an everyday thing. What kind of husband would he be if he did not empty the bins and put the rubbish out? ...then again, if he started an argument, he might lose another point and not receive his prize at the end of the week.
Oh, she looked stunning tonight! He loved the curve around her slender waist, the elegant way she held herself. He would have loved to ravish her right there and then, but that would only get him into even more negative points.
Then she told him, he could earn extra points. It was easy! All he had to do was have second helpings for dinner!
Yes! He could do that! Easy!
In actual fact, two generous helpings of lasagne with buttery potatoes was not easy at all! He was fine until he got halfway through his second plate. He was so full, every mouthful was an effort to chew and swallow. Towards the end he even felt nauseous with his belly stretched out as far as it would go.
Sylvia allowed him to loosen his flies to give his belly more room, which made him more comfortable, but it still made him very lethargic.
Nevertheless, it was worth it to see that extra point go on the board!
All he had to do was have another double dinner by the end of the week!
The second double dinner was just as difficult as the first. Tom ate only because he had to. Eating broke the day up into sensible portions. It was fuel and nothing else. He had only eaten to excess at Christmas before. Eating too much felt alien to him. He did it just to please Sylvia and get the points, which would get him his weekend prize.
