Chapter 2 - dorm - part 2

"I'm telling you, I've gotten... bigger!" Peter squinted his eyes in frustration as Quinn examined him head to toe with skepticism. "Are you sure you didn't just wash those pants recently?" The waistband definitely dug into his love handles more, but the legs still seemed as snug as they were before; though he did gain most of his weight in his belly, if he was getting bigger, surly there would be more indication. He ground his teeth lightly, "yes! Look! We just got this shirt a few days ago, right? I haven't even taken the tags off", Peter held up a black button-up, holding the tags, "and now...", he began trying to button them over his girth, "it barely...", as he neared the second-last button, the fabric strained hard and dug into his sides, "... fits!" Peter managed all of the buttons, but now a gap sat in between the sides of the fabric between the last and second last button. Quinn's eyes widened and she bent over to the tum and offending buttons, poking the soft skin. "... maybe you have gotten bigger..." Under his breath, Peter whispered, "told you".
Quinn stared at the huge belly in front of her; Peter loved food and had a special place in his tummy for sweets, all of which he carried directly in front of him. Every part of his tum was rounded and soft, even his rolls seemed to have a certain roundness to them. Since beginning to gain in earnest, he never tried to hold himself back, and with Quinn's encouragement, he ballooned out quickly. Both of them loved every pound, and weighed the progress nearly daily.
"I guess we should think about getting new clothes soon, huh? You know, we are broke college students, maybe you should hold off on the gaining for now...? Just until we maybe have more money?" Peter looked at her with sad shock, "no... I, like this, I love this... I thought I'd hate how I look, how I feel, but I love this, and I don't want to..." Quinn pondered for a moment, then smiled, "do you care too much about the style of clothes?" "... no? I guess not if it means I get to keep doing this." "Ok, then I have a plan."
