"Wait... what?" Joseph managed to blurt out. The girl seemed unphased and resumed making up Joseph's order.
"What was I just thinking, that's not me. I don't judge fat people, or what they eat or how they eat it. Speaking of I hope Samantha likes her food. These places are usually so skimpy it wouldn't hurt to throw another patty in there, maybe even another burger or two, I'm sure Samantha can handle it. Se is a big girl. Bet she wants an extra-large shake, really thick. Maybe two? Mm, I bet that would make her ass shake. Oh, and some greasy fries. I bet she would inhale them."
Joseph was broken away from his thoughts once more by the sound of several bags of food and a tray of drinks being dropped on the counter in front of him. The slovenly girl had given him a ton of food, more than he had originally ordered, but more in line with what he had just wanted.
"To weird."
He grabbed the food and drinks, resting them on the old book and holding it tight to balance them. All he could think about was walking back to the library as quick as possible and hoped that everyone would stay out of his way. Sure enough, crowds parted around him, made way for him as he walked by and held the library doors open for him. "No way everyone is being this nice to me. I just need the keys to the room and..."
"Here you go." Sam was walking around the reference desk and placed the keys to the research room on top of the book. She looked over the bags of food for a moment, "Is someone else joining us?"
"No, sorry, the employee over there just kept giving food away." Joseph let out a weak laugh.
"Well that's cool, I'll be up in just a bit, here I found this to help." She gave Joseph a small Latin to English dictionary
"Thanks." Joe turned quickly and headed to the elevator and went to the floor with the research rooms. Here each room lined the outside of the building, while the center of the floor was set up for more public research space. He quickly located the private room, entered setting his things down and closed the door behind him.
"What is going on. It is like people are doing whatever I want them to, what eve I think they should do. This is too intense and crazy. I have to test it."
