Susannah had only just had the maid, the cook and the nurse employed for a month, when the company employed another CEO to take her/Paul's place. Susannah had two choices, go back to being a secretary and take a big drop in pay or go looking for a position elsewhere.
Susannah could not bear the humiliation of going back to work in the outer office with all the other employees. She was sure they did not like her and suspected that she was the one who had somehow forced Paul into gaining so much weight. Of course, they were right, but she did not want them to start asking too many questions.
She decided to pack up her things from the office and leave.

When she got home, she kept herself busy looking for another position. She thought her CV looked really good, especially with the 'acting CEO' bit on it. Ideally, she wanted a job that would give her the same level of prestige with a salary to match.
Unfortunately, despite being short listed and interviewed for several positions, she did not get a post that she thought suited her.

She considered her options once again.
She could stay where she was, at home and unemployed, but her savings would not last long, especially as she had three wages to pay out. The dole would not pay for them. She could not afford to sit around waiting for six months waiting for a suitable job to land in her lap.

Or she could move on... She had accomplished everything that she had wanted to do with Paul. He was now fat, ugly and useless!

She sold Paul's snazzy sport's car and her own car, she emptied his bank account and ran up a huge credit card bill in his name.
She sold off anything that had any real value on eBay.
Then, one night, she packed up everything she could into a suitcase and was off on a new adventure, travelling first class, staying in 5 star hotels and wearing expensive designer clothes, all at Paul's expense.

By the time Paul's sedatives wore off, she would be long gone. She gave an evil laugh in the taxi to the airport as she thought about him waking up in a body that was too big to move!
He would have no way of paying all his bills, he's have no one to look after him. He would have to declare himself bankrupt.
And all that would be before he even considered becoming healthy again.

It served him right for snubbing her at school!
