Joey looked at her in disbelief…”I know EXACTLY who you’re talking about!She’s the local merchant for old world remedies & potions.Some call her Strega,that’s witch in Italian.But she is better known as Mama Karma!”
“Joey don’t tell me you believe in witches.There has to be some other explanation.Like some kind of allergy!”
“Mel this is NO allergy.I’m going to get Mama Karma!”With that Joey ran out of the apartment.
About an hour later Joey returned with Mama Karma close behind.When she saw Mel she smiled.Instantly Mel knew she DID have something to do with what had happened to her!
“What the hell did you do to me,you bitch?”As the words came out of her mouth her body expanded more!”Stop…..Please stop!”
“You can stop it my dear.All you need to do is change your attitude!All of your cursing is not proper for a lady.If you truly want it to stop apologize & mean it!”
Mel looked at Joey,then she looked at Mama Karma with tears in her eyes.”I am truly sorry for all I have said & done to you & to others.Please forgive me!”With that there was a bright flash of blue light from around her body.Mel felt like all the weight of the world had been removed from her.However when she looked at her body she was still huge!”Why am I still fat?I though you said it would stop!”
“Oh the curse has stopped but the weight was just a byproduct of the curse.”Mama Karma looks over at Joey & there seems to be a glow of happiness coming from him.”I think someone loves you just as you are.In fact he has always loved you!”
Joey looks at them both.”It’s true I’ve always loved you even when you went off on a rant but I’ve also wondered what you would be like larger & now I see the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen!Will you marry me?”
“If you can put up with me like this….YES I’ll marry you!”
“I told my sister & your Mama I could change your attitude make you fit in more with the family!”
Mel looked at Mama Karma….”Your sister & my Mama?”
“Yes child….I’m your great aunt who you were named after!Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!”
