chapter 3 - the awakening

Charlie awoke, unsure of the time. Around him there were the pizza boxes from last night. All the food was gone. Had he eaten it all? or were there other people here? Other people like him.

He looked down to see his shirt was open and where his flat stomach once was, there now sat a paunch of flesh. He felt sluggish and lethargic. it was at this point that Charlie noticed that his hands were bound behind the chair.

Charlie began to panic. Here he was 1/2 naked, in a strangers house, tied to a chair. He knew, that there would be no point is shouting as he was on the outskirts of town in a house down a long driveway.

He sat for about 2 hours, trying to consider ways of escape but his hands were bound and every thought seemed wrong in some way. not impossible just wrong. Then he heard the door open. He tried to look round but he couldn't see the door.

" So how is my little piggy today?" the voice asked. The voice had that same soothing monotone sound that immediately put Charlie at ease and yet on edge.

Charlie heard footsteps coming closer. "Are you going to answer me piggy?" The voice repeated his question.

" F-Fine" Charlie stuttered. He wanted to shout, he wanted to run but it was like something was stopping him. Charlie then felt hands on his shoulders. The hands then moved down his chest towards his distended tummy.

"Looks like last night has had an affect. A few more nights like that and there will be no turning back" The man continued to caress Charlie's hairless body.

" What...…. What do you want with me?" Charlie asked bravely. Immediately his mind reprimanded him for his impertinence, but why? Why was that impertinent?

" My my, usually the do not dare to question me by now. Well lets indulge you" The voice said, losing its control for just a second. The strange music began to play as the man began to speak, with that same rhythmic pattern as last night.
" You see my boy, I was once a master hypnotist called "The Amazing Adipostio". I toured the world, amazing and astounding people with my powers of hypnosis and control. In every town, there was always a boy like you. Young, skinny and cute, but hiding something, scared about who they really are. I make it my business to help them. To show them who they want to be."

The rhythmic style of his speech made Charlie sink lower and lower into the chair. Adipostio places a tray of food in front of Charlie. Charlie fights against the fog in his mind.

"What do you get out of it?" Charlie asked with all his might.

"Well that is a good question" Adipostio replied, knowing that each word and phrase takes Charlie deeper into his control. " As these lovely boys discover themselves, I enjoy watching the changes. I enjoy helping them become who they were born to be. Now eat my little piggy. We don't want you wasting away"

Charlie begins to absent-mindedly eat the food on the tray. Although he could just manage to question Adipostio, he couldn't ignore a command.

"You know, I could show you some of the boys I have helped. I have pictures. Would you like that?" Adipostio grinned a wry grin.

"Yes please" Charlie responded. His answers were sluggish and his tone began to match that of Adipostio.

"Well finish you lunch and I will get the pictures. Don't forget the the milkshake. Its always a favourite of my boys" Adipostio left but the music was still playing. Charlie ate the food and drank the milkshake. He hadn't even noticed that his hands were free. He wanted to eat to please Adipostio. No he needed to.
