Chapter 1
*Dr. Locke is standing outside an old tenement building in the heart of New York City*DL: Greetings Fantasy Feeder fans and welcome to another scientific deluge into the gross with another edition of Weird Science.
*DL looks up*
DL: Nobody likes a nosy neighbor, but everyone HATES aggressive and antagonistic landlords. In this building behind me resides an old woman who's bitter against the world and everyone in it. She's about to learn a life lesson that she should have learned 40 years ago. I call this.....THE LANDLADY.
*David was helping his wife Melanie up the stairs. The young couple was expecting their first child after 3 years of marriage and Melanie was 7 months pregnant. As Melanie slowly waddled, one of their neighbors, a middle aged scientist named Dr. William Ornetap just happened to be walking in carrying a satchel of science supplies. William put his satchel down and helped Melanie up the stairs.*
William: Melanie, David, its good to see you. Let me help.
Melanie: Thank you Dr. Ornetap.
William: Oh no young lady, you call me William. How are you David?
David: Surviving. I'm trying not to speak too loud or else Mrs. Mansfield might hear us.
*Mrs Mansfield was the surly, 65 year old landlord of the apartment building. Her husband passed away in 2001 and she inherited the building. She was never a people person but she HATED children. Mostly because she and her husband never had children due to her wishes not to. She felt her husband was too nice to the world and didn't want his genes passed down. On the first floor Apartment 1 was where Dr. Ornetap lived. Apartment 2 was where Mrs. Mansfield resided. On the second floor Apartment 3 was rented to David and Melanie while Apartment 4 held Fransisco and his wife Sarita along with their 2 young children Angelina and Tavo*
William: Yes, I've heard her yelling at that nice couple and their kids on the second floor next to you about running down the stairs.
David: If she's that upset about the noise, how come she just doesn't take the apartment upstairs herself?
William: Too many stairs.
*When Melanie and David were at the top, William shook David and Melanie's hands*
William: You two have a good day. By the way, I had an idea for an experiment I'm working on and I'd like your inpu......
*Suddenly a booming voice from below echoed DR ORNETAPPPPPPP!!*
William: Now what?
David: Good luck.
*David helped Melanie into their apartment as William plodded down the stairs where Mrs. Mansfield was standing over his satchel he left behind to tend to Melanie. Mrs. Mansfield was 5'1 and about 160 pounds, not thin but not fat either. She was tapping her foot*
Mrs. Mansfield: How DARE you leave objects on the ground for me to step on and possible hurt myself! For a doctor, you're not too bright are you?
William: I put my satchel down to help Melanie up the stairs, you know, the PREGNANT lady.
Mrs. Mansfield: I don't care what she is and quite frankly I think its terrible of her to give up her body to bring god awful children into this world. You pick up your garbage or I'm going to throw it in the trash myself.
*Mrs. Mansfield went to pick up the satchel when William shot his hand out*
William: DON'T YOU TOUCH THAT!
*Mansfield was startled briefly as William picked up the satchel carefully without putting his hands inside it. He walked toward his apartment away from Mansfield*
Mansfield: Don't you yell at me! I have half a mind to evict you right here and now.
*under his breath*
William: You have half of mind alright.
Mansfield: What did you say??
William: Nothing, good day ma'am.
*William entered his apartment leaving Mansfield in the hall by herself*
Mansfield: Creeps, they're all creeps. Scientists, such weirdos.
*Back inside his apartment William set the satchel down carefully on his kitchen counter and looked back at the door*
William: Just keep pushing, bitch.
