Chapter 5 - movie day

The following day, both April and Alex slept in, recovering from their late night catch-up. April rubbed some sleep out of her eyes, and yawned wide as she lifted herself from her bed. After giving her caterpillars their daily food, April found herself finally willing to confront the clothing issue.

Not a lot of items fit April anymore, this wasn’t an issue when it was just her and the occasional embarrassed delivery boy, but now that Alex was home, April decided her current range of clothing wasn’t going to cut it anymore. Additionally April had to confront another obvious truth, she liked Alex a lot. Putting her smart brain to use, April came up with a plan that solved both problems in one.

Alex was in the kitchen, making himself some toast and thinking about last night when April walked into the room. She would have liked to think she was sneaking up on him, but there was little April could sneak up on these days. April was wearing the most modest clothes she could scrounge up, a tank top that showed off her soft sizeable belly roll, and some sweatpants, which were only moderately skintight. Her belly jiggled slightly as she entered.

“Watcha doin” April asked innocently. Alex caught himself staring at April’s newfound girth, still adjusting. April gave her belly a squeeze, “Watcha lookin at?”, April teased, this snapped Alex out of his daze, “oh, nothing” he murmured. They discussed what their plans were for the day. April floated the idea of a shopping trip so she could get some new clothes, though her obvious weight gain since Alex had gone on holiday was still an unaddressed topic.

Alex proposed a slightly different plan, he was pretty tired from the late night travel, and jet lag, so he proposed they put the shopping off till tomorrow and have a chill movie day at home. April agreed, but only if Alex got snacks, and she could choose the movies.

Alex didn’t know what snacks April was into these days, so he got a variety of candy, popcorn, chips, fruit, and nuts. This turned out to be the correct choice as April’s snack preferences had become all snacks. When he returned to the flat, he found April bundled up in a thick cocoon of blankets, with her happy dimpled smile poking out.

April happily munched on snacks, while they watched a bugs life together. Alex even managed to coax her out of her cocoon, to share some of the blankets with him. Sharing the blankets forced the two of them into much closer proximity. Alex could feel Aprils chubby thigh spilling into his lap, making his heart race as he struggled to contain himself. Alex subtly rested his arm on her soft thigh.

After the end of the second bug themed movie (the bee movie), Alex’s exhaustion defeated his arousal. He began to nod off by the beginning of a caterpillar documentary narrated by David Attenborough. While Alex slept, his head slowly slumped over, until it was resting on April’s shoulder, who didn’t seem to mind one bit. He even began to unconsciously start grabbing a handful of her tummy, while snoring contentedly. April was very pleased.

April had suspected Alex had been into chubby girls, based on his previous relationships, and the erection poking into her thigh was the data she needed to confirm her hypothesis.
