Friends are the family that you can choose. Even though you're able to choose them, doesn't mean they're there to stay. Something Christine had to realize the day Katie left the house forever. "Melany, even though I loved the muffins, I could use some alcohol right now," Christine said while out of breath. "Yeah, that's a good idea. Just so you know, I'll do anything for you" Melany said. Melany knew Christine was struggling with the fact that Katie left. Was Chrsitne going to do that as well? Would Melany end up without a pig to feed? If you'd ask Melany, she'd do anything to prevent that. For years she had to endure this sad feeling combined with jealousy as she saw Katie and Christine leave the house to go to the gym and be healthy every day. All she wanted was the opposite of that reality. She wanted control over them instead of being left alone. She wanted to express her sexual desires by dominating both of them. To forget about everything that had happened that night, Melany fed Christine bottles of wine. During that time, Christine managed to sit up straight.
