Chapter 1 - Creston Potion and Tarot

In the collage town of Creston, there is a shop known for its tarot readings, as well as selling unusual potions. On one sunday afternoon, this shop had two extraordinary requests from two of the college's star quarterbacks - Brayden and Hunter.

The two were engaged in a rivalry to be #1, always trying to overshadow the other. This rivalry stretched to all aspects of their lives; from who had the biggest muscles and lowest body fat percentage to who played the best on the field. In the most recent game, this rivalry got in the way leading to a major loss for Creston to the neighbouring town.

It was Brayden and Hunter's fault; too busy arguing to notice what was going on, the other team flew ahead. The coach was very angry with them and he layed the blamed souly with them for what happened. He then told them that if they didn't resolve this rivalry soon, they would both be off the team.

This is what led these two to the potion shop. Despite not talking to one another. They both developed an eerily similar plan to come here for a potion to change the other in a way that would keep them out of the other's way. They both came up with the same idea for how the potion could go about this.

They asked the shopkeeper to make them a potion that would make the other "extremely fat with absolutely no musculature or strength." The collage had another game tomorrow. It would be the perfect time for them to give each other the potion...

The next day.

It was just before the game in the locker room, and the rest of the team had already left. It was just Brayden and Hunter there alone, stood there in only their boxers having been arguing earlier. Now seems like the perfect time for them to give each other the potion so...

Brayden pulled out a proline shake, saying he made extra this morning and that he didn't want to waste it.

Hunter pulled out an energy drink, saying he bought the wrong type and didn't like this flavour.

They were oblivious to each others plans as they traded and began to drink.. Brayden finished first, and Hunter wasn't far behind. They looked at each other, smiling, trying not to laugh as they awaited the results...
