Chapter 1 - The bracelets
Tony is a fit, 5''10' (180cm), 160 lbs (70kg) in his mid-twenties who enjoys working out whenever he could. He loves to keep in shape and to eat healthy but little to his knowledge this was all about to change as he came home from work as a dietician at the local gym.I was walking up to the front door of my apartment when I noticed a single white carrier bag hanging on the handle. Not thinking anything of it. I placed the bag on my coffee table sitting down and looked inside there was a simple black box which held two simple brushed steel bracelets. I had no idea why anyone would send these to me however I was curious about how they would look on, so taking off my fitness tracker I snap them on, one on each wrist they fit me perfectly as though they were ment for me and I really liked how they looked on my muscular arms as I flexed but they couldn't be, someone must have got the wrong appartment, and if they were for me who the hell sent them me it wasn't like it were my birthday or anything so where did these handsome bracelets come from?
As I was about to try to take them of my phone buzzedin my pocket. I had received a message form an unknown number saying ''I see that you're enjoying my gift ''. This message was then followed by a second that read ''Under the foam insert that held the bracelets, in the box you will find a gift card for a range of fast food restaurants; this is your key to brief control of the bracelets.''
I sent a reply saying ''WTF was this... some sort of joke'' and a third text message appeared in the chat reading '' Tomorrow you are to quit your job and never set foot in that or any other gym again, don't worry the rent for your apartment will be covered and other essentials will be sent to your door as for food well that's what the gift card is for''.
At this point I was convinced that this was all some kind of joke and put my phone down on the table and attempted to remove the bracelets. I searched for a latch or split but there simply wasn't one, next I tried to slip them over my hands but they wouldn't move almost as thought they were fused to my skin. I started to panic but calmed my self down saying to myself that i would try again tomorrow and must just be tired.
