Discovering the truth

Its true, sometimes you don't know what you have, till it's right in front of you. That person could become your whole being and universe. That sound blocking out the silence. College, work, pretenses, and expectations can blind us. Even if its right before our eyes craving for us to see it and make it ours.

Walking into the house relaxed from the hot tub. I stop examining my arms in the mirror. I've started working out more with it getting closer to college being done. Looking myself head to toe, laughing at my own silliness. Grabbing my navy Blue shirt off the rack. Then tossing the towel in the basket walking into the kitchen. My heads felt off its game sense last night. Maybe dad is right and my phone has finally scrambled my brain. Grabbing a cold ale from the fridge and joining everyone.

After a bit.

We all stand around in the kitchen, mom and dad up in their room. Everyone here are adults now even little Theo. Theo has been my younger step brother for the past 10 years. He is now 21 thin about 5 foot 8 inches, with a small frame. He just cut his hair really short again and its light brown. He wears wire framed glasses.
Milly and Ashley sit on the counter on each side of Devon. Milly is really thin with long brown hair and even browner eyes. She is about 23 and Ashely is about 22. Ashley is super thin too and has long blond hair.
My oldest brother Devon is about 25. Devon is thin and very tall at least 6ft 5ins. His eyes are hazel brown like mother's, but he has father's black hair like I do. Devon is a pharmacist and makes great money doing it. Then there's Tia she is about 5ft 4 incs. She has long curly brownish hair. She is about 180 pounds alot of it in her round mid section.

I have known Tia for over the past 2 years, now. Theo had met her in his photography, art credit class. We all later had a gym class together, she is in no way athletic other then swimming.
We all started hanging out after school. Her and my brother would go to anime club when I had weight training. I'd drive them home after our activities. We would hang and I would tutor Tia in math and science most nights. She would often end up spending the night here falling a sleep studying. Luckily her mother was ok with it after my parents reassured her we where all just good friends. We are all lucky we got into the same college. I have a few months lefts of my graduate program for engineering. Tia has a year left of her bachelor's and minor. Theo is just started his Theology major and is a freshmen.

Devon pours each of the girls a drink. I watch everyone lost in thought. We all have known each other for so long. Yet today something seems so different. This feeling from when I woke up now is buzzing in my head.

Tia: Hey, Liam are you ok?

Liam: Yeah, I just feel a bit off sense I woke up. Really, I have sense we watched that meter shower last night. Its not a bad feeling just a haze.

Tia: It was really pretty wasn't it? Maybe it was the magic of the stars or we all need to eat.

We all laugh, and I pat Tia on the head as she smiles.

Theo: Sense you liked the show last night, you will really like the scifi romcom movie we plan to watch.

Tia: Yes, I will and you Mr, can't complain if its cringy.

Milly: He will trust me.

Devon: We will all hear about it too. Little brother it's funny you both seems off today. What gives? Maybe, you all do spend to much time together.

Milly: Actually you all 3 do. No wonder there where those rumors back in school you 3 where a truple.

We all laugh at the absurdity.

Tia: Please, really. After Clay left me, no man with his teeth will touch me. Let alone 2 and brothers. Come on Theo is Mr. Holy and I'm lucky to even be friends with Liam. I will take what ever time I can get with the boys I can.

Devon: Told you 2, they are all good.

Every thing in me runs cold and my attention is pulled to Tia.

Theo: Yeah, they are crazy. Tia I might be Mr. Holy but I can still be bad. I got you a whole boxes of your favorite snack cakes. Mom also got us all crackers and cheese.

Theo goes and gets the snack cakes for her. I watch her jump for joy. Everyone turns staring at me. Tia feels my forehead and I glare at them why are they all staring so hard?

Tia: What's wrong, its not like you to be so quite?. I hope you're not sick.

Liam: Tia, you really think that of me?

Tia: Yeah, you are super smart but don't bully me for not being genius. You where so kind to me will tutoring me. Never making fun of me like most people do with my dyslexia. You are so kind and under standing about my faith and enjoy learning and exploring it with me. Your eyes are the greenish I've ever seen like a fresh garden on a spring day. You are fit and have very very nice hair. You're attractive that's a fact, we all have seen the girls fuss over you sense high school. Plus, you have good teeth. You're tall and not annoyed by my shortness. You don't hate on me for my college choices but are supportive. You don't shame me for hating driving or my immune issues. Clay always looked down on me for getting sick. You where popular in school and could get any girl you wanted. Still you where always my friend and me a Theo even got you into nerd culture. Then there's me.

I sigh taking in her words, they where so heart felt. I never knew she felt this way. Devon just grins looking between Theo and I.

Theo: Its ok, he's my cool big brother we can use him this spring to get us into a not so wild but fun party or 2.

Tia: Really, you Theo.

Theo: I can have fun and I can be the designated driver for you both.

Tia: That'd be great.

She hugs us both and we all are pink.

Milly: Well, if she's not a thing with you 2 she most be scaring away the other boys.

Tia: Its ok, I care to much about these 2. It would kill me to lose them, they've been there for me more then anyone so far in my life.

Milly: If you keep hanging around them you won't ever have a life hunny, lets just be honest. Liam will get snached up by the next pretty girl that catches his eye. She will lock him in with that new internship he's getting. They'll move into some big house like this. Then any time he has doubt she'll pop out a few more kids. Theo will meet some girl in his studies or if he ever goes back to church. He would be as happy as he could ever be. Then you'll be the single aunt that got left behind. We all just care about you.

I glare at Milly and Tia looks at the floor. Devon gets up hugging Tia shooing the other 2 with his hands.

Tia: Devon but you know. I have no one else in my heart.

Devon: Honey, we talked about this, ok.

Every part of me feels so sick I want to vomit.

I think~: But she's right. Theo has waited to long to tell Tia he has feelings. She's been alone all this time because of it. He's even dated another girl and chopped all his hair off. He knows she likes long hair. I always wondered if she liked me before. A few times we've gotten drunk together things have gotten a bit odd. She's told me how she'd want to die if she didn't have Theo and I. It felt so deep and all I wanted to do was fix that pain as if it was my responsibility.

Tia looks over at me and my heart twinges. It does anytime she's in pain sense we first met when Theo introduced her to me. She was so skinny, underweight, and unhappy back then. I had seen her in the hallway previously, but she was never truly smiling. The first time I meet her, her face was almost glowing. She wore that pink sundress that no longer fits her, thank goodness. Full figured looks so much better on most girls, but especially her.

I suddenly feel dizzy remembering one of those drunken nights.

Hearing crying from the guest room, next to mine. We had all had been hanging out and it got to late to take Tia home. I walk in seeing her crying with her phone. Sitting on the blanket next to her. I take her phone and seeing the slew of dating apps she had open.

Liam: So these are the ones Devon suggested, that ass.

Tia: Yeah, they are pretty crappy so far. Even if I didn't care about someone. I'm not my types type anyway.

I flip through her matches most are bottom of the bin. I look through her likes. Most of the have dark longish hair. Her 2 favorited ones are strong and muscular ones. I click on their profiles they are needy and one's a cosplayer.

Tia: The guys I really like won't feel that back, why would they?

I rest my hand on her shoulder. Looking up at us both in the mirror. Slowly I lift her chin facing her to the mirror. She looks even more curvaceous in her reflection. I swallow hard.

Liam: Hey, you don't eed these dating aps Tia. You are not ugly at all.

Tia: The guys I fall for never love me back anyways. Why would I think I'm pretty look at me. Even Theo didn't want me, he's dating that one girl now.

I run into my room grabbing some vodka, 2 commemorative shot glasses, soda, and a bag of chips. I pour 2 shots.

Liam: Theo doesn't know what he missed out on dating that chick. I'm sorry I know you care about him alot.

I hand her the soda and a shot we both do one. She drinks her soda bit.

Tia: I do but he isn't he first and wont be the last. I actually cared for even loved another guy, way before Theo. That guy never acted back on it either.

She looks up slowing her blinks, her eyes full tears. I wipe them and she giggles. I hand her another shot.

Liam: Well, then fuck him.

We take the shots and the chaser.

Tia: I wish I could of. Maybe if I wasn't so fat he would have.

I stop sliding the chips to her she is 165 pounds and still so too thin. Her hips are wide and her chest has grown doubling in size sense high school. She now sitting at about a D and way more then a handful. Her waist starting to flourish into a soft roundness that rests on her legs. Dirty thoughts of what I want to do to her soft body pop up in my head and I try to push them down.

Liam: No, you are to thin Tia. You better not have been starving yourself missy. Especially not for these worthless fuck boys.

I watch her eyes get big and her breath heavy. Every part of me feels warm now. I want to make her listen, no I need her to.

I take her face and the chips in my hand. She shakes a bit.

Tia: Yes, Liam.

She takes the chips from me eating a few. I shake a bit siting back. I can't help but watch her eat every crunch pulling me in. I look down noticing her belly starting to bloat. These desire coming up in me. She is pink looking at me watching my reactions.


Liam: Good, Tia you deserve to be treated better and never, like Clay did to you. I'm sorry I get feelings are confusing and maybe Theo is just not sure of himself.


She leans in a chip hanging from her lip pulling it into her mouth.


Liam: Silly girl trust me I bet he adores you.


I pet her head softly and she sighs softly. I notice her bloat a bit more leaning back.

Liam: Every growing inch of you.


She lets out a light moan she is fully blushed and warm.

Liam: Um, cause you look pregnant right now.

Tia: I do, did you get me pregnant. Ohhh.

Every part of me is confused now. I have had these lustful feeling for her before. Back then I could always suppress them.

I reach out feeling her belly she looks almost light headed. Every part of me wants to take her right here and now. I pull back my hand.

Liam: You will make some man a wonderful wife one day. Also what a great mother you will be.

I lift her chin taping it.

Liam: We should get to bed. Don't tell any one I was in here so my parents don't get upset ok.

She nods watching me and I walk out.
