Chapter 1 - story and ending

5 Months Later since 13 Year Old Kara Zor El was found by Superman, Eliza went outside to the porch to get her husband Jeremiah Danvers to keep her company while she did dissertation. On top of the roof, 13 Year Old Kara convinced 16 Year Old Alex to sneak out and go flying with her, despite the latter's initial protests. While holding onto Kara as she flew, Alex told her that it amazing. The two sisters hadn't gotten off to a very good start, Alex very jealous of Kara, but after that night of flying together, some of those old grudges were forgiven.
"This is so amazing!" Alex gasped as Kara flew her over their beautiful, sleepy little hometown.
"It really is," Kara agreed, gazing mostly at Alex as they flew along, bonding for the first time in forever. It was the very first time Kara had ever felt truly at home and at peace while on Earth and it was all thanks to Alex… She was sure that this was the start of something very new and wonderful for the both of them! She almost never wanted to come down again!!

But in the end, she was forced to. Kara and Alex were caught sneaking in by Eliza and Jeremiah, and Eliza and Jeremiah lectured them sternly about the rules. Both Alex and Kara were frustrated that they had been caught sneaking out, but Eliza and Jeremiah lectured them mercilessly, trying to remind them how dangerous it was for Kara to live out in a world that was so very anti-alien. It was not safe for her to use her powers, that little late-night flight had been very risky.

But halfway through the lecture, someone knocked on the door. The girls were sent up to their room, with Eliza telling Kara not to use her super hearing to listen in on their conversation. Answering the door, Eliza and Jeremiah found themselves face to face with the DEO Director Hank Henshaw along with two of his associates. They requested to speak with the two girls upstairs.

"We have reason to believe that there is alien activity taking place on this premises," Hank Henshaw growled. "Is this true?" and although Eliza and Jeremiah tried to deny it at first, Hank refused to believe them. Instead, he only shook his head before eyeing them both coldly.
"If you really are so innocent, you won't mind us doing a quick sweep of your house," he growled as he barged right on in. Eliza and Jeremiah both wanted to protest, but they knew that would only make things worse so they held their breaths as Hank and his men spread out to search the house. They silently prayed that Kara and Alex would know to lay low and hide…

But their prayers were left unanswered. When Hank finally made his way upstairs to speak with this "Kara" girl, he recognized her as a Kryptonian immediately. His eyes widened in anger and disgust as he pointed a cruel finger at her.
"The alien! There! Seize her!!" he commanded and his men obeyed at once, tackling Kara ruthlessly to the ground like a common criminal and whipping out hunks of Kryptonite to keep her subdued.
"No, no, NO!!!" Kara sobbed, begging and wailing. Alex tried to free her, but one of the men whipped around and knocked her out.
"Kara!" Alex had tried to scream, but one punch knocked her down immediately.
"No! Alex!" Kara wept, still thrashing against the men pinning her down so cruelly. They were brutalizing her and she was only a child! Eliza and Jeremiah came running upstairs right after, but it was too late. Hank had Kara tied up in a net and surrounded by Kryptonite. It was over for her.
"You shouldn't have lied to me, Jeremiah. You shouldn't have lied to me," Hank warned Jeremiah gravely, then with a snap of his fingers, he, his men and Kara were gone. Kara's last scream lingered on, one final plea for help or mercy. It was never answered.

Kara Zor El was forceful stripped down until she was naked and then was dissected alive like a frog with the dissection recorded, copied and then sent to the Danvers all in the name of spiting and warning them. One of Hank's men recorded the live dissection while Hank, himself, got to do the dirty work, cutting Kara wide open and exposing all of her muscles and organs beneath. He poked and prodded them with his scalpels and needles, ignoring her desperate screams for mercy as she writhed against the straps holding her onto the operating table. She screamed in agony, but none of her tormentors noticed or cared at all. Instead, they only continued to cut her apart piece by piece, digging deeper and deeper into her body until there was nothing left to dissect. Then the recording ended and Hank had it delivered straight to the Danvers.

Ending
The family grieved terribly as they watched Kara's final, agonizing moments alive play out right before their very eyes, but there was nothing they could do now. Kara was long gone by then, rotting six feet under the dirt. And not only that, but they were forbidden from ever telling about it. Hank threatened the Danvers that he would arrest Alex for attempting to assault his men and the only way they could keep Alex out of jail was if they never ever spoke of Kara again. So the family was, sadly, forced to give up Kara without any hint as to where Kara had been sent to. It was a loss none of them ever forgave themselves for, and Kara's dying screams haunted them all until their own final hours on Earth, but by then, they were all too ready to go.
