Luthor family and alien kryptonian

Chapter 1 - story and ending

"Faster!!! Or it'll be the dissection table for you, you filthy little monster!" Lillian Luthor sneered down at her alien slave. The girl's name was Kara Zor-El, but everyone within the Luthor mansion, including her, had long since forgotten it since the Luthors only ever used degrading names to call her. "Filthy Little Monster" was just one of many names "Kara" had while slaving her life away under her Humane masters: the Luthor Family.

13 Year Old Kara Zor El had come from a planet called Krypton. It was destroyed by its own folly and she was sent away in a space pod so that she might survive the apocalypse have a chance at a better, safer life on another planet. This other planet became Earth, and for a few days, it seemed like maybe Kara would survive after all, and start anew on Earth. But after those few days, when she was found and snapped up by the Luthor family, all those hopeful dreams died at once. Ever since then, Kara had been but a slave to the cruel family that she called masters and mistresses, all of them abusing her in their own sick, twisted ways for their own selfish agendas.

Lillian used her as a chore-doer, making her do all the work around the mansion for nothing but scraps of food. Lional did much the same, using her for grunt work or to follow him around like a dutiful assistant, tending to his every little last whim. Lex used her to torment her, "playing" with her by bullying and harassing her. He liked to call it "science" when he poked and prodded her, or interrogated her about the life she had lost, but in actuality, it was nothing more than his sense of sadism and brutality shining through. And Lena also liked to bully and harass Kara just because she found it fun and it made her feel better about herself. Kara didn't deserve any of the spite being brought down on her head, but she was powerless to do anything except grin and bear it.

"Tell me, Kryptonian, do you bleed?" Lex taunted the poor young alien, closing in on her with a pair of rather sharp pliers.
"What? No! I mean, yes. But… No?" she whimpered back, slowly retreating from the demented Luthor boy.
"Oh come on! It's for science!" he mocked her, refusing to let her escape, snipping the pliers sadistically at her. "I know you're a Kryptonian and you're supposed to be invulnerable, so let's see if you can take it!"
"No, please, no… NO!!!" Kara begged, but Lex only laughed over her despair and wasted no time in poking and slashing at her frail, exposed limbs with the pliers, opening up several gnashes all along her body. Although Lex was right that Kryptonians were typically invulnerable, because Kara had been so abused by the Luthors, she was almost as weak as a normal human. She did have some resistance to physical attacks, but not nearly as much as what a regular Kryptonian would have.

Lex continued to torment Kara until he finally grew bored with her sniveling, leaving her to lie there on the ground in a pool of her own blood. It wasn't a fatal amount, but it wasn't just a few scratches either. But Lillian didn't see it that way.
"OH! You filthy animal!!" she bellowed, pointing an accusatory finger at poor little Kara. "You got blood all over my nice clean floors!!" the Luthor mother continued to wail and whine, bemoaning fate for handing her such a worthless, useless slave. The slave in question could only lie there miserably, longing to tell Lillian the truth that the blood was not her fault, but Lex's. If he hadn't stabbed her, she wouldn't have bled all over the floor. But Kara already knew that to try and say this to Lillian would only be considered "backtalking" and warrant some sort of painful punishment. So instead, Kara just lay there and took Lillian's verbal beat down as she continued to scream and complain.

"Clean it up!" Lillian finally snarled. "Clean every little last stain up and don't you dare ever do this again, understand?!?!" she hissed as she literally threw a mop and bucket at little Kara.
"Yes ma'am," came the quiet and sullen reply.
"Or it'll be the dissection table for you!!" Lex agreed, having since poked his head back into the room to watch his mom bully Kara again. The moment Kara heard this said, she felt her blood run cold. It was her worst fear to be dissected alive, cut open and torn apart from the inside out, and she didn't doubt that the Luthors would be cruel enough to make good on that promise. She hopped to her feet immediately, ignoring the pain from Lex's wounds, and she began to scrub the floor as hard and fast as she could, perfectly obedient in the face of a possible dissection.

"My god, but you're ugly!" Lena once taunted, pointing and laughing at the alien's unhealthy frame. Kara said nothing in reply, knowing any word from her could result in the threat of dissection, her biggest fear. But when she remained silent, Lena took it as stupidity.
"And you're an idiot too!!" she jeered, pinching Kara's cheeks and slapping her face a bit. Kara remained still and silent.
"Oh, come on!" Lena's cruelly cheerful tone quickly became impatient and annoyed that Kara wasn't responding. "Say something!" she kicked Kara's shins, continuing call her stupid and ugly.
"I know you were abandoned because your parents didn't want you and I know you're probably too stupid to know anything because you are an alien, but come on!" she continued to whine. "You homeless freak! You're luck we were so nice as to give you a house to stay in! The least you could do is play nice and answer me!!"
But Kara remained silent, too broken inside to be able to formulate any sort of reply at all. But as Lena grew angrier and angrier, she finally ran away to tell her Daddy, Lional Luthor.

"You were disrespecting my daughter?!!?" the head of the house towered over Kara, voice like thunder as he beat his fists threateningly.
"No sir," came the meek reply.
"Then what is this about not playing with my little girl?!" he demanded.
"I am not supposed to interact with the humans because I am only a dirty little alien slave!" Kara replied obediently, and this wasn't entirely untrue. How many times had Lional and Lillian forbidden Kara from even looking at Lex and Lena? Lional had to admit that Kara had a point, but because he didn't like her upshowing him, he was quick to accuse her of being stupid, and backtalking her owner.
"You will play with my daughter if so she request, you foul little creature! I only said that YOU cannot instigate anything with THEM. Not the other way around! You brainless freak! You b*** child! You homeless little animal!!"
"Yes sir," Kara's shoulders slumped as Lena shot her a sickly satisfied smirk, crossing her arms and looking pleased at causing the family's slave so much more pain.

"Don't talk to me in that tone of voice, young lady!!!" Lional drew himself up even taller. "Or am I gonna have to dissect you to find out what's wrong with you?!" he threatened, and that, like always, evoked a powerful reaction from Kara. She fell to her knees, begging to be spared and forgiven. Anything but dissection! Kara trembled and sobbed.
"Do I need to cut you open? Rip you apart?!" Lional continued to shout.
"Yes!" Lena answered for him, literally spitting at the weeping alien on the floor.
"She never does anything she's told! And she does everything wrong!" Lillian agreed, having heard the chaos and decided to join in. Lex was there too, just pointing and laughing, jeering at Kara's plight. The Luthors all closed in on her like a pack of hungry wolves circling a kill…
"NOOO!!!" Kara's wail pierced the still, silent night air.

Ending
"Kara? Kara?! KARA!!! WAKE UP!!!" Kara suddenly felt cruel hands shaking her violently and she continued to sob and plead for her life, begging for the hands to be gentle and merciful. But then at last, she snapped awake! Wait. What?

Over the next 10 minutes, Kara was slowly brought back to reality and she finally realized that all of her years as a slave to the Luthor family had been no more than a nightmare. She was still Kara Zor-El (or rather, Kara Danvers). She was not a slave. She still had her powers. Alex Danvers was her family and sister. She had never been mistreated. All of it was just a fever dream. Terrifying, but just a dream.

"I'm guessing you had a nightmare?" Alex asked, showing a rare bit of pity for her foster sister.
"Yeah," Kara admitted with a deep sigh.
"Wanna talk about it?" Alex asked gently, and Kara gave a small nod of her head, then she began to tell the nightmarish story all over again…
