chapter 1

Kaley was a girl, built big, 5’7 170 pounds, always driven and often with a smile on her face. Kaley had a soft tummy and a wide set of hips, slightly bottom heavy, but not by too much by any margin. She was a senior now in high school, getting her plans ready for college the following year.

Michael was a college freshman, intelligent, slightly built but handsome, standing at 5’9 but liked to party, and a little shy, and a thing for large girls. Kaley first noticed Michael on a school weekend trip his senior year. He was a year older and hadn’t interacted with her much before, he said a few cheeky things on the trip to her, invoking a smile, and one final comment as they boarded the bus for home.

Kaley didn’t see much of Michael over the next few weeks, although she thought he was very cute, the fall semester came to an end, and with the winter months and holiday break, Kaley went to the various family and friend parties filled with fried and baked goods and the sugary alcoholic beverage. At one party Kaley was sipping on a drink when she someone tapped her on the shoulder…
“Hey!” Said Michael “I haven’t seen you much since the trip. Kaley right?”

Kaley froze as she looked at Michael, even since he graduated the few months ago he had filled out. Still skinny, but defined, more mature and with his dark features she fell almost speechless.
“Kaley? Isn’t it?” Michael asked again
“Oh, yeah sorry” Kaley said
“Yeah Michael right? We talked a little last year on the school trip?”
“Yeah” Michael said, “You’re a senior right? Any thoughts on plans next year?”

“Well I’m thinking about UW” Kaley said “I just got in the other week, but not sure if that fits what I want to study.”

“Oh well I go to UW, what are you interested in?” Michael asked

“Business, or maybe communications” Kaley replied

“Well it's got one of the best business schools on the west coast. Amd a very good comm school too.” Michael said

“Yeah I’m thinking that’s where I’ll go, just not 100% sure yet.” Kaley said

“Oh for sure” Said Michael “Well if you’re ever curious about seeing campus, or want someone to show you around just lmk sometime you’re free” Michael said.
“Oh that’d be awesome” Kaley said “I’ll definitely hit you up sometime”

Kaley and Michael talked for a few more minutes at the party, and exchanged numbers when Michael’s friends pulled him away to the party and soon left for a different party. Kaley continued to enjoy the snacks and sugary drinks at the party, when eventually her friends suggested they leave and stop at a local burger place for shakes on the way home. Kaley had also had a few hits of a dab pen, and the combination of alcohol and cannabis got her to order three burgers, two fries and a shake. Her friends batted eyes as she devoured the meal with ease but said nothing. When she got home she snuck a sleeve of oreos and a box of cheese-its up to her room which she also devoured and quickly threw away the evidence as to not anger her family for the lack of snacks the following day. In her drunken state felt full as she drifted off to sleep from a fun night of talking, partying and eating.

The next two months went by as Kaley continued with her final semester in high school, she had fun as the pressure laxed, going out more often and laying back on her work as she decided that she would attend UW in the fall taking th pressures off her senior year. As she was close to the school she thought about texting Michael to show her around campus. She was worried though as he was a year older, if he would be interested in actually showing her around, and the fact that she really didn’t know him that well, and perhaps he was just trying to be nice. Over the process of the months Kaley had also gained quite a few pounds, although she didn’t know it now weighing in at 84 lbs. Kaley decided to text Michael:

“Hey Michael it’s Kaley, I know you’re probably busy, and it’s ok if you can’t but I think I’m coming to UW, so if you had time maybe to show me around a little that would be awesome :) ! “

Kaley instantly regretted sending the text

“Ugh… stupid he probably’ doesn’t even remember you, and if he does, doen’t have ti” …

“Hey Kaley, yeah absolutely. LMK when you’re free and I’ll show you around!”

Kaley’s heart skipped a beat. She thought not to get too excited, he’s probably just trying to be nice. Although he did respond almost instantly, but he could have just had his phone on hand.

“I’m free, Friday afternoon at 2. I have a free period” Kaley texted

“Perfect I don’t have class on friday, How about I meet you in the quad at 2:15?” Michael replied

“Perfect, I’ll see you then!” Kaley quickly responded

Kaley was very excited, she always thought Michael was cute in high school, but never talked much, although the idea of seeing him made her nervous as she texted him from lunch, she didn’t even realize that she ate her entire lunch, and then her two friends entire 2/3rds of a large pizza they left on the table from stress. Then after not even realizing how much she ate, grabbed two large cookies from the student store before class as she occasionally did before class, again, not quite realizing she even was in the process, too focused on her text conversation to notice.
Kaley headed home from school on Friday at noon before the 2:15 time she was supposed to meet Michael. She was quite nervous before meeting him and wanted to change clothes as her first pair was a little sweaty. It was the end of her laundry cycle though, and only had a few outfits she hadn’t worn in a while. She had a few pairs of jeans that she thought we’re cute , but with the weather being 71 degrees in the mid April day, she decided on a pair of jean shorts she hadn’t worn in a while and a crop top in the same circumstances. As she tried on the jean shorts she didn’t realize how long it had been since she had worn them. As she tried to force the button shut she simply tried to believe the shorts had shrunk since she last wore them and that she was unaware of her new 190 lb frame. Kaley finally managed to button her frame, the button extremely strained against her soft milky white stomach, her belly button just peeking out over the top, and then threw on her crop top, and headed to UW to meet Michael.

“Kaley, parked her car and walked to the quad to meet Michael. Upon arriving the busting crowd of students whizzed by her as she seemed lost looking for Michael in the crowd, she found a bench and sat, still not seeing Michael. It was now 2:25 and she started to get worried if he forgot, when she was about to text him…

“Hey Kaley!” Michael said as he walked up behind her
Unbeknownst to Kaley she had actually grown an inch since last time the two met. Kaley now at 5’9 and Michael at 5’9. Not that the pair particularly noticed.

“How’s things been? Ready to look around?” Michael asked

The two then spent the next two hours chatting and walking around the campus getting to know each other, and flirting some. Michael asked Kaley if she wanted to grab dinner as it was almost 5. Kaley thought it was a bit early, but hadn’t eaten since lunch, so delightfully agreed. Michael took the pair to the school’s famous pizza place, and ordered two slices. Kaley did the same along with a soda and the two sat. Kaley finished her slices rather quickly and Michael raised an eyebrow.
“Are you still hungry? Look I’m buying so get whatever you want, really my treat” Michael offered

“No I’m ok, just didn’t have a big lunch” Kaley lied

“No for real, whatever you want, only get to visit here so often” Michael said.

“That’s true Kaley said. And with how good this food is I just may have to come here after all.” Kaley said as she got up to get more food.

Kaley returned with four more slices of pizza, an order of wings and mozzarella sticks.

“Feel free to take some, I don’t think I can finish it all, just wanted to try everything, sorry for overspending” Kaley said
“Not at all” Michael said “I’m here to treat you”

Michael had one mozzarella stick, and a wing but was mostly full from his meal as he watched Kaley devour her food, with no signs of slowing down as the food ran out. Kaley felt her button tighten even more against her stomach as she munched through the delicious food. As 6:30 drew around Michael asked if Kaley had time for dessert.

“There’s a really good cookie dough place near here. It’s like without the dairy so no need to worry about salmonella” Michael joked

“Ooh yeah I’’ve had that before” Kaley said

“It’s really good, I’m definitely down to try it”

she said, although she felt her button on her jean shorts tighten even more, but being with Michael relaxed her and drove her appetite at the same time. She ordered an XL at the cookie dough stand and the two started to walk around more. About halfway through her treat Michael asked Kaley what she was doing that night.

“There’s a small party at my friends place if you’re interested?” Michael said “Just a handful of people should be pretty laid back”

Kaley heart skipped another beat. She had never been to a college party, and didn’t feel like she was dressed for it.

“I don’t know, I’m not really dressed for it” Kaley said

“It’ll be super laid back, what you’re wearing makes you look so cute” Michael said

Kaley felt her stomach go in butterflies

“Ok well can’t stay too late, my parents will get worried” Kaley said

“Absolutely, if you really need you can crash on my couch” Michael said. “First college function, gotta get to know what it’s like somehow. I’m sure your parents would let you go.”

“You’re right Im sure it’ll be fun” Kaley said

“And as long as I’m not underdressed”

“You look great” Michael said “And like I said it’s super laid back, you’ll fit right in”
