Chapter 1
Severin was not what you could call fat. Nor was he what you could call skinny, or extremely muscled. Over the few months though, Severin had noted he’d been packing on some extra pounds. Unless you were really searching for it, it wasn't too noticeable. Those mornings, or evenings, or whatever - when you sit down somewhere, no shirt whatsoever, and admire your work - or inspect what was going on?Severin had noticed it pretty quickly. The way his new found flab slightly hung over certain pants more than others. He still had a pretty small figure, anyways, though he was quite tall.
Years ago Severin would’ve made the attempt to lose weight. Now, though? Severin made no attempt to work out or any of that stuff. He wasn’t directly seeking extra pounds, but he admitted, his new lifestyle probably had to contribute to that. Spending your time lazing around on the couch or bed or whatever all day, snacking on whatever you could find had its effects after some time.
After some consideration, Severin finally decided that today was the day that he’d push himself to his limits. He’d been working with how much he could eat in each sitting over the last few weeks. People definitely commented on that though, especially whenever he ate with family. They said he’d always eaten small portions, sometimes opting out completely to eat dinner. Maybe worried, but Severin was fine. He was just...trying something new. That was all.
In the past few weeks, they were not without doubt as well. Severin had looked at a photo of himself from years ago, specifically one with friends. He still knew those people, and he could firmly say that if he hung out with them, they’d all notice the extra weight.
But he wasn’t too worried about getting made fun of, either way. Severin - refusing to say it out-loud - enjoyed the attention. Gaining attracted attention to him. In that way, Severin was the star of the show. And besides, Severin was pretty sure he wasn’t going to go too far with things. He decided his limits. And that was that.
Severin sat in a comfortable leather chair, the room lit perfectly enough so that it was still slightly dimmed, but bright enough for the camera to have a good perspective of his torso. It wasn’t just a normal recording - a stream. Severin was hoping that people would donate money to make him drink...he glanced to his side...soda, yeah, that’s what he had. And they were nice big bottles, too. He had a few of those. At least he’d be making something from this.
He already had turned on the recording, just sitting in silence for what seemed like forever. He’d considered turning it off when he saw someone type into the chat.
Mabera: hi!
“Hello,” Severin greeted, laying back into his chair.
Mabera: sooooo what is this??
“It’s like..here..” He leaned over grabbing a bottle of the soda. “Donate 5 dollars to make me drink half, ten for the whole.” He tapped on the plastic.
Mabera: oooo
Mabera: how many do you have?
“A few,” he answered. “But I’ll stop if it gets too painful.”
Mabera: so you plan on drinking until it hurts?
He paused. “I guess so.” There was a sharp ding as Severin turned to look at the donations. There it was. Mabera had donated ten dollars. That was fast. This Mabera..whoever they were- Severin presumed they were a girl, wasn’t going easy with him. Mumbling out an “Okay,” Severin turned and took the bottle he’d just held moments before. Popping it open he began to drink, supporting the bottle with both hands at first. The taste was sweet. But something he was used to. Severin didn’t drink much soda in the past, but now?.. he began to drink a lot more.
Mabera: chugging the whole thing?
Unable to respond verbally, Severin momentarily took a hand from the bottle and stuck a thumbs up.
Mabera: :) niceee
Not that long after, Severin finished off the entire bottle with a burp, patting his stomach. He’d probably be burping a lot during this, he realized. Especially given how fast he was probably going to drink these with Mabera around.
“Ooh...” Severin groaned out. He side-eyed the other bottles, unsure if he could handle them.
Mabera: wow O:
Severin slowly turned his gaze back to the screen. “So..you’re into this stuff..?”
Mabera: yeah :D i like seeing the changes in people’s growth you know? their reactions and whatnot. are you?
Severin sighs. “I’m not sure of it. I’m just trying something new.” There was a minute or so before Mabera responded, in that time giving Severin some time for his stomach to settle.
Mabera: wow
Mabera: what a way to ‘try something new’ by diving straight in!
Severin continues to rub his stomach, giving a slight chuckle. “Well, I’m not that cautious you could-“ Ding. “-say...”
Mabera has donated ten dollars.
Severin leaned in, checking the screen to make sure he read it right. He did. So, he couldn’t disappoint his only and most eager viewer. He just had to keep drinking.
And by the time he’d finished that bottle, Severin adjusted his spot, giving off another burp. His stomach sloshed when he moved quickly. He used both hands to massage his stomach, which stuck out slightly, putting a heavy feeling in his gut - literally.
The fullness, Severin admitted, was slightly comforting in a weird way.
Mabera: that jacket looking a bit tight
Mabera: want to take it off?
Severin hiccuped, looking at the screen. “No..still got room...” But then he realized what Mabera meant, and right as he saw the sad emoticon, he lifted his hands and waved them rapidly. “No, excuse that. I’ll take it off.”
Unzipping it, he laid it on the back of the chair and almost prepared to unbutton his shirt, he stopped as he saw Mabera say something.
Mabera: no, keep it on for now.
“Mm. Okay.” Ding.
Severin knew what the ding met. Grab another bottle, rinse and repeat.
By now his stomach was growing tighter and tighter, and he wasn’t any less gassier. His stomach sloshed whenever he tried to adjust his position and he almost constantly grunted, trying to find the perfect place to sit.
He’d finally had enough and quietly muttered out a “Sorry” to Mabera as he undid the buttons on his jeans. Almost right away did the zipper fly down, and Severin stared at it for a few seconds.
Mabera: it’s fine it’s fine
Mabera: you know your limits!
Mabera: and that’s ok with me
Ding. Severin reached for another bottle, and as he was turning to go drink it again, Mabera stated something.
Mabera: look closely at how much i donated
Severin leaned in and glanced at the donations. Five dollars. Half was still a lot, but part of him was grateful for that it wasn’t the whole thing. His gut rested on his lap as he opened the bottle, presumably his last for the time being. He tilted his head back and began to take the rest of it.
Setting the bottle down Severin squinted as he studied how much he’d drank. A little over half, he realized, his stomach gurgling in response to generally nothing.
Mabera: ooo
Mabera: i heard the gut
...was it that loud? Counting quietly, Severin measured out the bottles. 3 and a half. Not bad.
Ding. Severin stiffened.
Mabera: P.S.
Mabera: sowwy! :)
Mabera has donated 5 dollars.
Scratch that, 4 complete bottles. At his limit, Severin leaned back in the chair, feeling defeated and almost constantly letting out a belch.
Mabera: ill stop for now
Mabera: youre prob gonna end the stream though?
Severin took a second or two to respond, focused on his stomach which he attempted to soothe. “Yeah, probably.”
Mabera: wouldn’t mind another stream sometime
Severin paused.
Mabera: of course only if you want to
Mabera: it’s your choice and you know your limits, so remember that!
Severin resumed to rub his stomach after some time, his breathing laboured. “I’ll think about it.” Which in a way was him saying, ‘yes.’
Mabera: ok!
Mabera: anyways
Mabera: goodnight (or good morning? IDK where you live sorry!!)
Mabera: i might be seeing you whenever :)
Exhaling and hiccuping, Severin nodded faintly. “Yeah. Goodnight.” He leaned over, turning off the camera for the night.
Gut pressing up against his buttons Severin felt quite overstuffed, far more than he had been at that one buffet he’d been at years ago. Although maybe the fact had something to do with how he ate lesser portions back then, and what he was drinking now was quite bubbly. He leaned over it turn off his light, not even going to his bed.
Instead, Severin quietly (or as quiet as you could in his situation) dozed off into a sleep...
