Chapter 1

I've never written a story before. This is a new account, but I've lurked this website for many years. I just got an idea and started writing, it might be a bunch of garbage and nonsense, but I've read plenty of that one here before and even then it can often still be entertaining, so enjoy...or don't...whichever.

"Rachel, you really should try it. I don't know what you're afraid of..."

Rachel rolled her eyes at her ridiculous fiancee and responded sarcastically "You know Tom, when you told me you believe in ghosts, I sort of thought it was cute in a way. When you told me you believed in bigfoot and UFOs and all that other stuff, I thought you were just sort of weird and quirky..."

"But..?" Tom interjected.

"But believing in hypnosis and all this other holistic nonsense is ridiculous! You're a grown man, you should probably know the difference between what's real and what's a scam cooked up by con-artists" she scathed.

Rachel immediately regretted being so harsh. She loved Tom, and after all he was just trying to help with a problem on which she had asked him for advice. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that..." she said, remorsefully. "It's just you know I don't believe in all of that stuff, I really don't think it would help..."

Tom looked deep into Rachel's eyes, he told her that he loved her, that it was okay if she didn't believe in the more fringe things which he did. After reassuring his bride to be, he gave her a hug and while staring over her shoulder deep in thought he said "Think of it this way, there's really no harm in just trying it. The audio will play long after you're asleep, and it will either help you or it won't. There's nothing to lose...well, except the weight of course!" He laughed almost nervously at his own stupid joke.

"Alright Tom, I'll try it if you think it will help" she responded, pulling back from the hug enough to give him a nice long kiss on the lips. Tom held her tightly, his fingers sinking ever so slightly into his fiancee's mildly plump back fat. "This is going to be too easy.." he thought to himself.
