Chapter 2

It was seven in the morning when Jami awoke. "Oh no! I have to be at work in an hour!" she exclaimed while running to her room. She pulled out a nice outfit to wear. Jami worked as a hair dresser at a beauty salon in town. Since she worked as a hair dresser there was no need for her to dress very formal or uptight. She just threw on a nice blouse and dark skinny jeans.

As she was about to leave, Jake walked in to catch her leaving. "Hey babe, going to work?" he asked. "Yeah I'm running a little bit behind schedule. I have to skip breakfast and everything. I guess I'll just wait for lunch." she explained with a sad tone. "Oh don't do that, here I picked these up on my way here. I know it's not really a breakfast but it will at least hold you over 'til lunch." "Aww you’re so good to me," she stated as she received a box of donuts from him, "I can share them with everyone else at the salon too. Thanks babe, I'll see you later tonight then." And with that she headed out the door.

While driving to work she thought she might as well have one of those donuts Jake brought her. She was amazed at how delicious they were. Several minutes later she arrived at work. She walked in and greeted her co-workers."Hey everyone!" she said happily. "Hi!" everyone replied. "Look what my boyfriend gave to me for us today," Jami stated," there's enough for everyone." Hearing this her co-workers turned to see what she was talking about and was overjoyed to see a big pink box on the main counter. Everyone rushed to where the box was and opened it. "Jami?" one of her co-workers, Stacy, asked, “there isn't any donuts in here?" After hearing this she realized that on her way to the salon, she must of ate all of them. "Oh? Sorry, I missed breakfast this morning and I guess I was hungry." She said. Stacy then replied, "Well I guess! Haha." Jami laughed along just brushing off the comment because she knew Stacy always joked around. Stacy was Jami’s best girlfriend. They started their friendship with each other when Jami first started working at the salon.

Along came lunch time and Jami was surprisingly hungry. She thought to herself, “Wow I’m surprised I’m still hungry after I ate those donuts this morning.” She was in the back room taking off her apron getting ready to leave to lunch. As she was pondering over what she should get to eat, she was interrupted by Stacy.”Hey Jami, your lover is here ha.” Jami was confused when she heard this, but she went to go see why he was at the salon. “Hey babe, look what I brought you.” He told her. She looked at what he was holding and saw a bag with writing on it that said Alejandro’s. “Don’t tell me that’s a bean and cheese burrito from Alejandro’s??” She asked with the sound of excitement in her voice. “Yup!” he replied. Bean and cheese burritos were Jami’s all time favorite Mexican food and Alejandro’s was her favorite place to get it from. “I thought you might be hungry since you didn’t really have breakfast this morning.” He said while he walked with her to the back room and placed the burrito on the table in there. “You are so SWEET!” she exclaimed while she jumped on him. He held her in his arms while she was kissing him like crazy. Jake then got a little carried away and placed his hands on her ass. Jami always loved the feeling of that but, she stopped him. “Hey! Not here! Haha maybe later tonight, if you surprise like this again you might get what you want.” She told him with a devilish smile. “I’ll keep that in mind.” He said as he winked at her. With that, they kissed and he left the salon.

Right after he left, she devoured her giant burrito. At Alejandro’s, they made their burritos about three times bigger than your average burrito. After her burrito she was really stuffed and just sat back for a second. Seconds later Stacy walked in. “How was that burrito of yours?” Stacy asked as she grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge that they had there. “Delectable.” Jami replied with a really satisfied tone. “Ha I guess! Some is still on your face! Haha, were you saving for later or something??” Stacy said while laughing. “Well gosh girl, you’re turning into a real piggy huh?” Stacy teased.”No, I was just hungry” Jami said with a chuckle. “Well just don’t overdo yourself; you don’t want to become a butterball.” And with that Stacy left. Jami then looked down at herself looking at the small food baby she got. She poked her belly a couple of times and laughed at how it jiggled. She just shrugged everything Stacy had told her because she knew she was only kidding. Jami just thought to herself,” Pssh, I’m not going to be a butterball,” and got back to work.
