Chapter 4 - the annual fair

It was the day of the fair. Max, Sam, and Jack went out an drove off to the fair.
"I have a lot planned for you two boys today," Jack said
"Like what?" Sam asked.
"Well there's a lot of food stalls everywhere, and so much beer. You guys can get really drunk because who really cares! It's time you guys have some fun in LA. There's also a burger eating contest. Do you guys want to join?" Jack asked.
"I do!" Max yelled.
"I'm fine with the beer," Sam said.
"C'mon Sam! Join the contest! Do something fun, yeah?" Max complained.
Sam grinned. "Ok fine. I'll do it."
They got to the fair and Max couldn't believe his eyes. They sold corn dogs, cotton candy, pizza, chicken strips, milkshakes, and so much other stuff! Max bought everything and pigged out. He stuffed his face with food, and when he finished, he stuffed more food into his mouth.
"Whoa! Slow down boy! Save some room for the contest. If we win, we get free burgers until we die!"
"Don't worry Dad! I'll get to at least 35 burgers."
"You'll get more than that I'm sure. they're sliders, not huge burgers."
"Well, then looks like you're looking at the champion here!" Max pridefully said as he took another bite into his corn dog.
Sam headed for the bar and ordered a beer. There was this girl next to him and they started chatting. Sam talked about Max, and how all he's doing is gaining weight by accident, since all he does is eat all day.They talked for another two minutes, then the girl left. By the time the burger eating competition began, Sam finished two beers, and Max probably finished one of the restaurants foods.
The two headed onto the stage and were ready. Max stuffed the burgers into his face like crazy! Two sliders at a time! Sam took it a little easy, but still was going at a fast pace. None of the contestants could keep up with Max. Each bite made Max feel happier inside. 'Maybe,' he thought, 'I could be eat like this all the time.'
The contest finished, and Max won, eating 68 sliders! Max won the prize of burger sliders for a lifetime, and was very happy. (Sam only ate 27 sliders)
At home, Jack slapped Max's belly and said, "Kid you did great out there! You pigged out and got us the best burgers we can have for free for a lifetime!"
Max blushed and thanked his dad for taking him there. Max waddled to his room and shut the door. He felt a lot bigger than at the beginning of the day, and wondered if he liked being big.
Sam stayed by his father. He was really confused.
"Hey Dad. Can we talk?" Sam asked.
"Sure Sam. What is it that you want to talk about?" Jack replied.
"I was just wondering that... I know this sounds crazy but... are you trying to make us fat?" Sam asked.
"What?! You're out of your mind! Of course not!" Jack yelled.
"Hehe. Good. I though I was acting crazy. Good night Dad." Sam walked out the room and into his bedroom.
Jack sighed. "That boy cannot know the truth..."
