Be aware that a lot of buttons are sewn on really well! Jeans buttons in particular are often pretty tough. If you really want to pop a button, either choose pants where the button is already getting loose, or else snip away at some of the threads.

Extra snacking can make a real difference too. (especially if working from home, but also any job where it is an option). Setting her up with some small chocolate bits or M&Ms, a sleeve of cookies, even a bowl of washed grapes. If you are making supper together put together a few crackers with cheese to 'keep you going until supper', in the evening make popcorn with lots of butter, or ask if she'd like (whatever snack she might enjoy). You can eat a lot in the day without getting stuffed from meals by just making sure you are eating something more often.

Thanks, I was familiar with the basic concept but googling definite revealed some surprises - like oatmeal has a higher glycemic index than whole wheat bread? I guess it probably depends on the bread, but this is still useful information.
Oatmeal is a good thing to have, because it contains soluble fibre, which apparently helps clear build up out of our arteries (or something like that). But it doesn't slow down digestion in the way that insoluble fibre (like the bran in whole wheat flour) does.

Things that don't make your hands sticky, and don't drop crumbs (don't want to have to go clean after each snack)
Things that you can have sitting out with you (don't need to keep them chilled)
Some variety (you can tired of any one thing)
Both food and drink (sometimes you want one, sometimes another)
For example some chocolate broken into chunks, some easy fruit (bananas, apples), some baked good that is clean (like crackers, non-crumbly cookies, or pretzels), and at the least some water but it you prefer maybe something like sweet ice tea or apple juice.

Basically you need to communicate. Let your parents know that your gf is fat, that you love her, and that if they want to meet her you expect them to behave. I mean, you can choose your time, like if they comment about some woman being fat, mention that your gf is bigger than that, and you'd love to have her come meet them, but you are worried about how they'd treat her.
And fwiw, odds on that they want you in their life more than they want to be fat phobic. If they realize that at some point you will move out and won't visit much if you have to deal with their fat-phobia, they might just modify their behavior (but no guarantees)

Do a web search on glycemic index, basically a measure of how much/fast your blood sugar spikes up in response to eating various foods. Generally foods with more fibre digest more slowly, so some sweet with fibre will hit you less hard than sweets and more heavily processed starches (i.e. most sweets). But to some degree sugar is sugar and always is a punch to your system, it is just a question of how sharp of a punch.

I've done as high as 10 in a week. So I guess it might be possible, but you'd spend the week painfully full.

I’ve never been really stuffed and pushed to my limit. Does it actually hurt to be feed to the extreme?
Enlighten me, please.
You shouldn't ever be feeling acute pain (stabs of pain, etc). More sort of an ache and quite a bit of discomfort, especially if you try to bend or move too quickly. You are also likely to find it hard to breathe deeply, which further discourages much movement. If you have really packed it in you are likely to just want to lie down for a while until the pressure subsides.
Although there are sort of two types of being stuffed. One is when your stomach is as full as it can be. Another is when you've been eating heavily for a day or more, and your whole digestive system is packed full. At that point you may not be able to fit as much in your stomach (there just isn't as much room for it to stretch out), but your overall abdomen is packed more full. My experience is that the stomach-full version can be a bit more painful, while the whole system full is more discomfort and lack of breath, but less pain per se.

I don't know if everyone's usage is the same as this, but here is one reference:
whatscookingamerica.net/Sauces_Condiments/CreamDefinitions.htmDrinking too much cream is apt to give you digestive problems (you really don't want that!). So I'd start small (say half a cup a day) and after a couple of days increase it if you haven't had any problems, and continue like that until you find a good spot for you. Do keep in mind that heavy cream is super filling, and doesn't taste that good on its own.

When picking something up off the floor I prefer a modified squat versus bending over as the weight of the belly can take you off balance. Also when boarding a plane ask the flight attendant for a seat belt extender the moment you board.
I guess it is all in how your fat is distributed? For me when getting something off the floor these days it is usually spreading my feet out to either side, wider than shoulder width, then bending from the waist. The spread legs give room for my belly when I bend. If it is heavy enough that I worry about picking it up that way I will squat. Although I try to avoid having to lift anything at all heavy up from the floor if I can, just too awkward. Like if I'm bringing in a box of canned tomatoes from the car, after groceries, I used to put it down on the floor in the kitchen along with the rest of the groceries, then later take it to the basement. Now I'll either take it all the way down to the basement when I come in, or put it on the stove until I'm ready to take it to the basement.
I've had occasions, while wearing too tight jeans, that I've had to unbutton them in order to bend enough to reach the floor. It is the weirdest feeling to bend down to pick something up, and simply miss because you don't end up bending down as far as you expected to.
