What do you feel is missing in current content that could be filled?

stevita:
I would really love to see more genre fiction in weight gain circles. Give me fat or gaining detectives, vampires, space mercenaries, residents in Small Towns where Weird Stuff Keeps Happening, suburban drug kingpins forced into manufacturing contraband to keep their families afloat, cursed pirates, Royal concubines...basically take all the stuff people already love reading about and Make It Fat.

girlcrisis:
Twigzybird on here and Shrubberylogistics on Deviantart do a good job of exploring a wide range of genres in their weight gain fiction. It’s a difficult balance to strike though and takes a lot of talent to balance theme, plot, character development etc while keeping fat at the forefront of the story.

Feeder862, possibly the best writer here, and newbie BlackjackandBerries also have this talent in abundance.

I’m thinking of mixing up genres — like Westworld or Cowboys-and Aliens.

I also think that we could use more stories that explore classic myths, urban myths and fairytales. I do enjoy a good Hansel and Gretel re-imagining, but also I would love to see more from African, Asian and Latinex folklore with a feederism twist.

In fact, that brings up another thing missing in our story catalogue — racial and ethnic diversity.

Bhm feedee romance/satire novel

GrowingLoveHandles:
Ohh. I love your stories.

stevita:
Omg thanks! I've been a fan of yours for years! "Hot Fudge Cake" was such an awakening for me.

Thank you so much!!

Yeah, “Hot Fudge Cake”.

I’m getting kind of hungry just thinking about the inspiration for that little vignette.

What do you feel is missing in current content that could be filled?

John Smith:
Do you mean "The Witcher" in a nutshell? Because I've heard than Yennefer has gotten fat in the novels.

stevita:
Omg! How detailed does it get? Cause I am HERE for chubby sorceresses

Okay. Just had to add this one here because it’s a decent piece of fanfic on Yennefer. I do like borin23’s stories.

Agreed on this, Stevita!

I feel I think too narrowly when it comes to ideas for writing. Too much cliche. And I usually have a romance genre which is cliche.

The pandemic could provide a lot of fresh ideas (along with feeding my anxiety and depression). Just gotta get those creative juices a-flowing.

Your post also makes me think about how I love musical genres to explode from their boundaries and get mixed up. Hip hop rootsy blues. Punk bluegrass. Queer country. Rap opera.

So can I come up with a feederism story equivalent.

I think I found that chapter (jk but it is a fun read. You’ll need a dA account to access it).

Bhm feedee romance/satire novel

stevita:
Hey guys! So I recently finished a novel about a fledgeling feedee and his relationship with his curvy and sarcastic ex-manager. Unfortunately it's a little too NC-17 to post here, on account of detailed sex scenes, mentions of past domestic violence, mentions of police brutality, and adult language. But if you're the kind of person who likes the hero to really have to earn his happy ending (along with about 100 lbs) I would appreciate your readership and feedback!

Ohh. I love your stories.

Stories and likes numbers

babypiglet:
I feel ya I feel like views should count to because not everyone likes.

I think number of views should be a searchable option. However, I realize that I have a lot of stories with few views and many likes, and I cherish those readers. This seems to occur with darker stories like those which are about death feedism.

Back to original post: For some reason, there is a day or two lag in stories and likes showing up on the authors page, so all is good.

Why y'all just wanna be piggies?

Selkie:
No disrespect to pigs, but what about the other fat animals? Anyone identify as an elephant, a hippo or a whale? I wanna be a seal! Lol!😂

What's your preferred fat spirit animal?

Being a seal, walrus or manatee would be cool. All that blubbery fat.

And a cow is another great choice. It takes so much grass to sustain them, they eat a lot of their waking hours. With their cud and two stomachs, they are digesting food all the time. And they are docile creatures with big eyes. And for those aroused by breasts and milk, milk cows’ utters fill to bursting, just waiting for daily release.

I think the reason pigs are preferred by so many is because their value increases with every pound, so they are encouraged to eat and fatten. And our language speaks of “pigging out”, “making a pig of yourself”, “going whole hog”, “porking up”, etc.

Stories and likes numbers

It seems to me on the author page the number of stories and number of likes may be frozen.

It doesn't seem like they have changed in weeks, and now, I have added a story, and it has some likes, and nothing has changed on my author count.

Just wondering what's going on.

I do love those likes.

"searching for a story" thread

Fatbelly5241:
Hi guys!
So I’m looking for a story I read a few years back... It’s essentially the reader getting fatter and fatter as they continue to read the story, and the narrator makes fun at the readers inability to express self control. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I’ll keep looking for that one.

If you like that style of narrator talking in second person pov, you might enjoy this.
