Beer belly or dough belly

I have a firm, round beer belly, though I do agree that a soft, jiggly belly would be more of a turn on for me.

Firm bellies are usually from visceral fat, which surrounds organs, not very healthy. Soft bellies are subcutaneous fat just under the skin, better health wise. (Obviously being overweight/fat/obese isn't healthy.)

Charlie horses/ “cramps”

Suzieann:
Hello,

I hope I’m posting this in the right spot. I have a question; I’m not sure if it’s weird or not, maybe just me.

Does the plus size community on here experience a lot of muscle cramps or “charlie horses?” Like in your feet, toes, calves, sides, ect? I get these almost daily and looked up online that “larger” people have a common issue with this? Of course I sit for my job and often get so involved with work that I probably sit in the same position for hours at a time so it may be just that.

Can anyone relate or not? If you can what helps remedy this if anything?

Ssbhmjoe:
Yes I make sure to stay hydrated. And supplement potassium and magnesium and helps tremendously.

I was in the hospital ten or eleven years ago and I was treated with a potassium drip due to low potassium in my blood. Low potassium does lead to cramping.

When to weigh?

newfoundfat:
Curios if people have opinions about the best time to weigh when actively gaining? First thing in the morning? Last thing before bed? Not to get the highest possible number but the most accurate one. I’ve noticed it fluctuates a lot for me throughout the day and don’t know which to go with.

Be consistent, weigh the same time of day, whether everyday or on some other schedule. I weigh every morning, before breakfast, daily.

Every year...

You really have to think that fall/winter is weight gain season, as "Photofatty" just mentioned, all of your major eating holidays are in the fall and early winter. The candy binges of Halloween, to the gorging at the table for Thanksgiving to all the treats that come out for Christmas! The best time of year to overeating and gaining!

Changing self image

I recently had to get dressed up for the funeral of a former neighbor and friend. I hadn't worn my dress shirt or sport coat since before the pandemic. I couldn't button the collar and I couldn't button the sport coat. I bought the sport coat a couple of years ago at a thrift store, my old sport coats that I had to wear to work for many years were way too small.
I also saw myself in a photo of a meeting I was attending, I looked really heavy! Wow, I'm really getting fat!

Bisexual content

Hooper:
Hey does anyone know a good bisexual weight gain story where both a guy and girl get fat and they're both bisexual

My story, "It's Complicated" has a girl and guy gaining, she is bi.

If someone asked to see your belly

A fantasy for sure, but it would have to be someone I really knew and liked to show that person my belly in reality.

Hard or soft

I have to say, I do like nice, soft, jiggly fat. My wife is nice and soft and jiggles. I, however, have a firm, nearly hard belly all visceral fat. I do like how it bulges out in front of me, but I'd enjoy some hanging fat and jiggling.

Inevitably gaining weight?

I was "husky" growing up, overweight, but not hugely fat. I was still a bit heavy in college, but I got sick (pneumonia) right after college and lost a substantial amount of weight and kept it off for years. I joined the military reserves, which meant I had to stay in shape for twenty five years. Toward the end of my service, I found it more and more difficult to meet weight standards. I retired from the reserves in 2013, and that is when I have started my active gaining. I'm up about thirty pounds. I'm now fifty pounds heavier than when I got married. My wife who is a BBW, has not mentioned anything about my gain, though I make no effort to "suck it in".
I'm also old, late sixties, so being heavier and old is far more accepting in society than being overweight and young. I hope this makes sense.
