It was 3 days before I heard from Melanie, 3 days of waiting, 3 days of hoping, 3 days wondering if I'd ever see or hear from her again. It had now got around the station that I had been back to see Melanie for more than safety advice. It was a bit uncomfortable but at 32 years old I had only been brave enough to admit to myself that I was attracted to larger women.
