A not so typical freshman 15 (completed)

chapter 6

It was the second week of August when my father took me clothes shopping. I'd busted out of all my articles of clothing except one flannel and jeans that barely fit. My flannel buttons barely attached to one another, exposing bits of flesh in between each button. I couldn't even tie the last one, so a bit of my belly just casually hung out.
My waist was around 40 inches and I weighed just shy under 200 pounds. I got my jeans a few sizes bigger just in case I ended getting larger (which I fully intended to do, but didn't outright admit to my dad). I got of belts to hold my pants in place for the time being as well.

And then almost immediately it was my birthday, without me even realizing. It was August 28th. My brother had already started school, so he wasn't able to be at home during the celebration. My mother and father prepared an extravagant feast for me that morning: stacks of pancakes, trays filled with french toast, plates of an assortment of fries, bowls of fruit, eggs. A large concealed box was placed in the center of the table.
"Happy Birthday!" they both said. I thanked them graciously, and, as if it was second nature at this point, began demolishing the food in front of me.
"We called your friends over, too! They should be arriving soon, so before you eat your breakfast, I suggest you go up and change quickly." I did as they said, quickly and resumed my demolition project. "Open the box when your friends are all over. My treat for all you boys!" This was the second time I felt extremely bloated, too much to even stand upright.
Buck and Evan arrived a half hour after I finished eating. The two of them were quite plumper than usual. Perhaps they had fully been persuaded by me?
I calmed my stomach down a bit, but it still ached because of my glorious banquet. Nevertheless, we opened the box together and we found the largest cake we had ever laid our eyes on. We all ate a good portion of that, but even I couldn't finish it all.
An hour and a half passed and we just talked with one another. I did my best to soothe my stomach and it worked. After burping a few times, it cleared the bloating sensations I felt, and I finally made peace with my body. Then the doorbell rang and in came two of my other friends -- Sonia and Lola. The two of them had also grown a bit thicker, just like Buck and Evan, although not as much. The two of them had brought with them a wagon filled with an array of delicacies.
"Alright," Lola said, enthusiastically. "Connor's lunch is here!"
"L-lunch!" I said,
"Yep! Lunch," Lola repeated herself. She brought the wagon in and set in front of Connor.
"Th-There's easily another 1000 calories in this thing."
"I didn't picture you as one to turn down food," Evan said, disappointedly.
"Well, when you put it that way..."
"Shut up and eat, you big fuck," Sonia smirked, crossing her arms.
Sonia wasn't one to judge, for she, herself, had grown considerably since the last time we met, but I put it aside for now.
I did what I could do best: I ate. And somehow, I finished the wagon filled with food. And just as I thought I couldn't possibly eat another bite, Evan entered the room with yet another wagon and said, "I hope you enjoyed your appetizer! Now let's start your first course!"
"I-I'm sorry, what?" I said, panicking.
"Relax, it was only a joke!" Evan said.
"Feeding you is some hard work," Lola admitted. "We need to have some too!"
"Yea, not everything's about you," Sonia said, crossing her arms.
"Well, I disagree," I jokingly said.
We spent the rest of the day, enjoying each other's company, and we had a nice, large dinner to end off this momentous day.
